Cinnamon Hill is located in Catherineberg considered to be the most beautiful and sought after neighborhood on St. John. Newly completed in 2013, this 4 bedroom villa is nestled high above Cinnamon Bay with breathtaking unobstructed views of Francis bay, Jost Van Dyke and Tortola. This North Shore location provides a private place to rest and relax among a lush tropical landscape with cool breezes throughout the year. The villa is located approximately 4 miles from Cruz bay (15 min. Drive) along the St. John Head National Park Road. Though the road is graded and mostly paved, the driveway is steep and a four wheel drive vehicle is recommended.

The stucco house blends seamlessly into the hillside and offers the most stunning views you’ll ever experience. The two-story home consists of a rich mahogany/cypress vaulted ceiling with an airy open floor plan for living and dining and 4 bedrooms. Every room is impeccably decorated with the highest quality furnishings and intertwined with local artist décor. The modern gourmet kitchen is complete with stainless steel appliances and innovative accessories. All 4 bedrooms are identical with t with en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, ceiling fans and private patio. Stepping outside, enjoy comfortable lounging and alfresco dining in the expansive covered pavilion with outdoor kitchen overlooking the zero edge pool. On the Garden/Pool Level, enjoy the shady pavilion plus a sundeck complete with spa and chaise lounges.

The property has its very own solar system which generates most of the villa’s energy needs. We also collect all rain water from rooftops, driveways, and hillside runoffs for all our irrigation needs.

Cinnamon Hill is a rare opportunity for the most discriminating guests and tends to be reserved frequently, so plan ahead to book your stay at one of St. John’s most spectacular homes. This house is not recommended for wheelchairs or small children as there are open staircases and cable railings throughout.

We just returned from an incredible stay at Cinnamon Hill. We have been coming to St. John since the 80's and Cinnamon Hill is the most beautiful home we have ever stayed in! We have rented houses for less but the fact that the house is brand new is so worth it. Everything works and the furnishings are so comfortable. Sleeping on luxurious mattresses with quiet ceiling fans and air conditioning after a fun filled day at the beach made for a well rested trip. The location is ideal --private yet short drive to North shore beaches. The on-island manager, Justin, far exceeded our expectations from meeting us at the ferry dock to helping us arrange outings and offering great restaurant recommendations. We definitely will be coming back to Cinnamon Hill next year!! Loved everything about St. John and the home!!

We had vacationed on St. John for many years with our three children beginning in 1989. Catherineberg and Cinnamon Bay are the best areas we found to enjoy the island as it is private and yet close to everything on the island.

Just completed construction in 2013. Perfect vews and cool breezes throughout the year.

A PERFECT VILLA

We visited St John the week of June 16-23 and had the pleasure of staying at Cinnamon Hill villa. This villa met and exceeded our party's expectations which made our vacation on St John that much more enjoyable. This was my 10th trip back to St John and have I have stayed is several other upscale villas. Cinnamon Hill has to be one of the best equipped villas I have ever visited. There was not a single thing we wished for that this villa did not provide. We also appreciated conveniences such as a second refrigerator at the poolside pavilion and a beer/wine fridge on the upper pavilion. We even returned from a day on the beach to find the place nice and tidy, bedroom suites all cleaned and straightened up. Hats off to the owner and management staff for this touch of service.

We loved the layout of the villa with the exterior pavilions tying both ends of the property together in one common area that takes full advantage of the amazing view of Cinnamon Bay and the BVI's. The villa is beautifully furnished and decorated, and all four private suites are equal in space, furnishings, and finish. So if you are traveling with adults only, no one is getting the short end of the stick.

This villa is within the nation park area of the island and provides total privacy from any neighbors, so all focus is on the stunning panoramic ocean views it provides. Due to its location, villa renters will need to plan their grocery and beer/spirit needs accordingly as the grocery store is not conveniently located to this particular location.

The unpaved road leading to and from the villa is quite rough, but our party seemed to enjoy it and treated it as part of the adventure. 4WD is a must if taking the road up from the north shore road to the villa.

I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone visiting St John who is looking for a beautiful upscale rental that provides total privacy and jaw dropping ocean views. We will be returning to St John summer 2015 and Cinnamon Hill will definitely be on top of our list again.

BREATHTAKING VIEWS AND A BEAUTIFUL HOME

I'm a little late writing this, but was looking at pictures reminiscing, and thought that this place was so fantastic I ought to write a review for it. I traveled to St. John's in late December and stayed through the new year with my girlfriend and her family. It was hands down the best vacation I've ever taken. The island itself was amazing but the villa just made it even better. I woke up every morning to paradise, able to look out my balcony at the most amazing views I've ever seen in my life. The layout of the home way perfect, very open with cool breezes throughout. The place was immaculate, I have absolutely no complaints, and people came to clean while we traveled about the island a couple times during the week. The only downside was that during that time of year there was never any sun where we stayed, so it was occasionally chilly at night. However, that may change with the seasons, who knows. Overall, it was absolutely perfect. I may just have to move to this island.

Cinnamon Hill has an exclusive entrence that leads you down a rough path above Cinnamon Beach to a villa with views to die for. I challange you to find a spot in or around the villa that has no million dollar view. Every detail was thought of and added to this villa for your perfect stay. Cinnamon Bay is one of the prettiest beaches in all of St John and your location is close enough to Cruze Bay yet far enough away for privacy. Rent this villa it is worth every penny.

CINNAMON HILL : DOLCE VILLA

As we wrote in the villa's guest book, it is one of life's real pleasures to find
something that is as good -- or better--than advertised and that is certainly
the case with this beautiful home overlooking Cinnamon Bay. We thoroughly
enjoyed our stay and loved knowing that this well appointed home base awaited us after a spent discovering why St. John deserves its reputation as one of the Caribbean's gems.

The villa was immaculate and the views truly spectacular. As well, the owner and property manager were very helpful in answering questions, providing a list of St. John "favorites" and tips on things to do and places to go.

We'd highly recommend this lovely home, with only one caveat--you need a four wheel drive to get to and from the villa -- which actually highlights another of the villa's virtues : total privacy.

BLOWN AWAY BY THE VIEWS!!!

This is our 4th trip to the Virgin Islands, 3rd to St. John. This house and its views seem like something out of a dream. We had stayed on Ditleff Point, the previous two trips to St. John and thought we would always go back there. Well this year, our usual villa was booked so we tried Cinnamon Hill. We are hooked!

First let me tell you, don't let the drive up to the villa intimidate you. There are two ways to get to the villa, the shortcut to the North Shore Road being the more bumpy, adventurous one. Like the owner said in their description, you will need four-wheel drive. We arrived in the dark, so couldn't wait for morning to come. WOW! Those views, I can't say it enough!

This home is very comfortable to stay in, literally. From the furniture, to the kitchen, to the beds and pillows. I've never slept so well. One morning, I decided to take a small hike down the paved hill and couldn't believe how many critters I saw. The sights and sounds at Cinnamon Hill will forever be etched in my mind. We enjoyed the hot tub and star gazing at night time. The owners provide everything you could possibly need from beach chairs, towels, coolers, etc...

We would most definitely stay here again and will recommend it to everyone we know!

I had the pleasure of a week at Cinnamon Hill. It was luxurious and well cared for. The beds and sheets were sumptuous. The space in the family kitchen area that opened to the outdoor bbq and dining area were perfect for our group of 8 to eat meals together inside or out. Water views from the deck are incredible, you are nestled in the middle of a national park.

The owner offered great recommendations for perfect places to go, eat and visit. Snorkeling was incredible all over the island where we saw so many fish, turtles and sting rays. The owner suggested good beaches and let us use their sand chairs that had a little pouch in back for items and straps to carry it like a backpack so you can hold the ice chest and snorkel equipment, they thought of every convenience.

This was my first trip to the Virgin Islands and we truly got to experience a lot of the Island. We took a day long boat cruise, hiked in the national park, rented dingies, hung out at beach bars, tried paddle boarding - I could go on, this is a dream spot. The climate was perfect and temps were 78 not humid. We will book this villa again!!!
