Thanks so much, we are packing up now and really enjoyed our stay. The house is great and I will definitely rate it on VRBO when we get back- it is beautiful and is one of the best appointed houses we have rented. You did a really nice job with it. The only recommendation we would have is maybe a fan in the basement level- it can get pretty hot, but otherwise, it is great. Thanks so much, we will definitely be coming back! The location worked really well for us, Colin

Working in the recreational boating industry in RI for the past 8 years has given me exposure to all of the waterfront communities in the Ocean State. We picked Jamestown for its central location, proximity to Newport and Providence and its lovely beachside community. Fresh paint, new mattresses and furniture, and a privacy fence are just a few of the upgrades we made to our new home in Jamestown.
We fell in love with Jamestown on first sight. The nautical village and close proximity to Newport and Naragansett made Jamestown our first choice pick when seeking a new home. With our original drive by this cottage, we new we wanted to purchase.
The original portion of the cottage was built in 1935 with major updates and expansion in 1995. We call it Auntie's Cottage because it's ownership history has only included two woman. The first being the aunt of the second. This home is perfectly set up for and positioned to entertain family and enjoy the lovely island.
This home is in a quiet residential neighborhood in walking distance to restaurants, bakery, library, post office, grocery store, package store, shops, etc. The cathedral ceilings throughout the first floor maximize the space and provide an inviting atmosphere. The wood cathedral ceilings in the grand room and the second bedroom add a lovely and charming character to the cottage.
