5 bedrooms + 2 bathrooms - great place for kids!

Near the beach, where from June to December the dolphins and whales pass by, lies our luxurious villa. It is surrounded by a subtropical garden where you can pick your tropical fruits in season. Whether you'll spend your honeymoon or stay with your family, you'll have the whole place (5 bedrooms) just for yourself. Enjoy the pool and braai (BBQ) at the front (180 degrees seaview) or back (private swimming pool).

Port Edward has several restaurants, two shopping malls, a golf course and medical facilities.

It is the gateway to the beautifull Wild Coast, lies at the Southern ridges of the Drakensberg and is only a 1,5 hours drive from Durban (airport).

This great holiday accomodation lies in the province Kwazulu Natal, at the lush, subtropical 'Hibiscus Coast'. Our villa lies in the safe beach village Port Edward, 1 1/2 hours South from Durban. Only 300 meters from the beach,from the garden or deck you can watch the whales and dolfins in June-December jumping in the ocean . It is a great place to relax before or after a visit to the game parks Kruger or Hluhluwe, the Drakensberg, Wild Coast or Lesotho.

Golf: De South-Coast (tussen Durban en Port Edward) is a very popular region to play golfe and is also known a the Golf Coast. In short distance from our house, there are many golfcourses. Only 3 km is the Wild Coast Sun Golf Course which is 7th on the list of 100 best golfcourses in South Africa.

    High season (Juli, August, Public Holidays): € 200,- per day
    Price stated based on 4 people. Over 4 people: surcharge on request.
    Maximum 10 people, including children. Due to the bathrooms the house is comfortable for 2 families, that is 4 adults. No more than 6 adults accepted for bookings

    Obligatory end cleaning : € 75,-
    Deposit: on arrival € 100,- or ZAR 1000. When you leave the villa in good shape, this will be returned to you immediately.

Our week in Bougainvillea was absolutely lovely. The house has everything you need and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We spent almost a week there to relax after a drive through Namibia, Botswana and SA and I think there wouldn't have been a better place to do it.
The house was clean, had all the things as promised (barbeque, dishes, cutlery, towels etc). Mostly we cooked ourselves, the stores were close (though you'll need a car). It has a big living room and two porches, where 10 people can easily fit without feeling crowded.
And it does have an internet connection which was a big plus to us who had been cut off from the outside world for weeks :-)
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Geweldige vakantie in Zuid Afrika - Port Edward

Hartelijk dank voor het verblijf in jullie meer dan schitterend huis. Onze meiden (9 en 11 jaar) waren er helemaal weg van. Wij ook trouwens hoor! De jongste wil hier volgend jaar weer naar toe, maar dan wel 2 weken. Feit is inderdaad dat we hier eigenlijk te kort zijn geweest, maar goed, des te meer reden om hier nog eens een keer terug te komen. We hebben super genoten van alles. Het huis was heerlijk om te zijn, de omgeving is schitterend en de mensen zijn hier super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Hopelijk mogen we nog een keer jullie huis huren want we zijn er wel zeker van dat dit niet onze laatste vakantie in Zuid-Afrika is! Wat een schitterend land is het! Nogmaals hartelijk bedankt voor alles en hopelijk tot volgend jaar.
