Many modern amenities include; fresh water well, septic, gas forced heat, electric, HDTV, Dish satellite, wireless internet, telephone, fireplace insert, newer appliances, new mattresses, bedding and linens, washer and dryer for longer term guests, and so much more. The home has been updated with new flooring, new furniture and a updated second bath. Everything is included in this turn-key vacation rental that you will need for any length of stay.
CIRQ DU CHALET is just far enough from the congestion of town but close enough for dinner and a show or shopping trip in any of the neighboring towns.
Nearby fishing, surrounding attractions, cities and adventures are just a short drive away making this location awesome for destination central. Immerse yourself and your guests in the best of mountain life. Hiking and biking trails/parks, white water rafting, world class downhill skiing, cross country skiing, 4 Wheeling, ATV trails, fast water trout fishing, tubing, horseback riding, hunting, casino gambling, visiting a gold mine, star gazing, or sitting on one of the numerous rock formations and taking in the spectacular views. You will find seating areas scattered around the property for intimate conversation or larger get togethers.
Centrally located to all the activities in and close to Colorado Springs, Woodland Park, Manitou Springs, Green Mountain Falls, Garden of the Gods, and the Cliff Dwellings, but don't forget about the Canon City area, where some of the best white water rafting happens. The train ride through the Royal Gorge is highly recommended. You can also head over Hosier pass and visit the Ski areas like Breckenridge - about 80 miles away. Stop in Guffey, Colorado to shop for that antique yard art you didn't know you were missing or just set up an easel or tripod and shoot some amazing photos of America's past. Tell Bill we said 'Hey'. Take the kids to the North Pole and Pikes Peak only 25 minutes away.
Cripple Creek: This cabin is approximately 30 minutes from the gold mining and casino town of Cripple Creek. Something for everyone to do up here. It is home to one of the largest active gold mines. Take a mining tour, a train ride or enjoy wonderful restaurants and entertainment etc.
Teller County claims our property is in the town of Divide. The USPS and Google maps claims we are in the town of Florissant. We are really on the border of both towns. To get all of their attention we have lovingly renamed this area Floride.
From Colorado Springs head west
up Ute pass hwy 24. Travel through the towns of Woodland Park and Divide. Turn left at Twin Rocks Rd. Pass the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center. Take the next left at Trout Haven Rd. Continue up the mountain taking rights all the way up to Wahsatch Road.

This property took all of one minute to buy when we first visited. Location, Location, Location then View, View, View. Central to all things from the bigger city of Colorado Springs to peaceful solitude of the mountains.

the Cave of the Winds, Eleven Mile Reservoir, historic gold mining district and Casinos of Cripple Creek and Victor. Within an hour and a half drive, you can be at most ski resorts as well as river rafting spots, In addition, the Rocky Mountains are at your front door.
