Welcome to our stone cottage at Le Pied du Buisson, Limeuil. We are situated only a 10 minute walk from one of the most beautiful villages in France. The property is adjacent to the main house with its own private terrace,which is fenced for the little ones. The ground floor of the cottage is open plan and has a comfortable living area, dining space and modern fitted kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped for family cooking. A tiled staircase leads to the two bedrooms, shower room and seperate toilet. Bedroom one has a king size double bed and bedroom two has two single beds. The outside rerrace overlooks our landscaped gardens in which guests are free to use. There is a large stone BBQ at the front of the cottage, a perfect way to end the day watching wildlife, the sunset and amazing night skies. The salt water swimming pool is 10 metres by 5 metres and is fully alarmed to french standards, surrounded by hedges. A beautiful private area for swimming and sunbathing, loungers and sunbeds are provided.
Limeuil is set between two fabulous cities & is perfect for sightseeing. Forty minutes drive from Limeuil heading west through the many vineyards, is Bergerac a small city, with a lovely old quarter and shopping areas. Forty five minutes drive east bound from Limeuil takes you to the jewel of the Perigord Noir Sarlat, a golden sandstone medieval city..with a maze of cobbled streets, superb market, restaurants, cafes, art galleries and historical ambiance. Along the way you will discover rock face villages..Beynac and La Roque Gageac, Chateaux galore, the bastides of Domme & Belves. Ten minutes drive north of Limeuil you will find Le Bugue, where you can step back 100 years at 'Le Bournat' & wander the Aquarium. Not forgetting the 'Gouffre de Proumeyssac' a stunning crystal cathedral cave. Just passed Le Bugue follow the signs to Les Eyzies & the amazing rock formations & Lascaux caves. For the younger ones there are plenty of water parks, crazy golf, dinosaur parks & zoos.

The personal touch: Le Pied de Buisson is our little french hideaway. We live in the main house which is adjacent to the cottage & we will greet you on your day of arrival with a glass of local wine & cheese & answer any questions you may have. After we have settled you in we will give you the keys & leave you to enjoy your holiday. There is plenty of space for the children to run around and the pool is private for your use only, we have sun loungers & inflatables. So after all the sightseeing, you can relax back at your French home with a cooling dip in the pool, BBQ, or sit back with a glass of wine and watch the wildlife or a 10 minute stroll will lead you to the riverside restaurant.
