About Ann and Bill Latham
Bill and Ann Latham, who own and care for the Cabin which is next door to their residence, are 3rd generation Green Lake owners. We have been swimming, diving, fishing, sailing and loving Green Lake for over 60 years. our two children and grandchildren love spending time at the Cabin, but this year their plans changed which is why we are offering it for rent. The lake and Cabin are like part of our family and we hope you will enjoy it as much as we have.
Ann and Bill Latham purchased this house in 1986
Why Ann and Bill Latham chose Spicer
The property has been in our family for many years, and we are fortunate to enjoy life at Green Lake - located in West Central Minnesota, it is a 5400 acre clear glacial lake with good swimming, sailing, fishing all summer. Spicer and New London, within 4 miles, offer good restaurants, shops, and 27 hole Little Crow Golf Course. 17 miles to Willmar, a municipality with all amenities. Green Lake location is convenient from HWYs 23, 12 and 71. The Cabin has a 'Northern MN' karma due to the large lot size.
What makes this house unique
The sand and gradual water depth into the lake make this beach perfect for children and swimmers of all ages. Good fishing is off the dock and on nearby rock bars. The Cabin deck is as good as it gets, watching the sunrise and wildlife, hearing the waves and listening to the loons. The owners are neighbors who want your stay to be pleasant and full of the wonderful 'lake time' we enjoy year after year.
