Perfect Place to Stay in Wailea Maui for Family!

We have visited the Wailea area of Maui many times over the last 10 years and this is the nicest place we have stayed (and that includes the Grand Wailea!). We heard originally of the Palms at Wailea through a friend and had stayed in a couple of the condos there previously. The Palms is probably the nicest, easiest place to stay in Maui. You can park near your room, the grounds are immaculate, the units are very nice, and the pool/hot tub set up is also very nice. There is a wonderful, secluded beach a short trip down the street (at the southern terminus of the South Kihei road). The big bonus of this unit is the three AC units (one in each bedroom, and one in the living room area)! That and the fact that it is one of the nicest condos we've ever seen. My daughter exclaimed--"this is so much nicer than our house!" A second big bonus is how the unit is outfitted. There were boogie boards, chairs, inflatable objects (a raft, etc...), the kitchen had everything one could want, there was even a small cooler you could take to the beach. A third bonus was that the owners were great and the setup was super easy. A fourth bonus was access--the unit is on the first floor with a parking space right in front of it, so getting into and out of the unit with little kids was great (about 30 feet from your parked car). Also, it is a very short walk to the pool (100 feet?) out the back door. Awesome! In short, we loved it and we will be back!
