My name is Adele and I live in Rome, where I studied and where I majored in psychology.
When the children grew up, I began to travel through the travels of my guests and I'm really happy to share in their experiences.
I live in the same apartment, on the other hand distinct and separate, and I like to be at their disposal.
In the photo you see me with Uendj, my very polite and affectionate Golden Retriever who likes to welcome our guests, playing with their kids carrying their balls and toys, that's why she's my assistant in this wonderful adventure.
I like to write, take pictures, and long walks. I love nature in all its forms, and I believe that nothing happens by chance.
Adele purchased this hotel in 1978
Oftentimes, it's not about the places you go, but the people you meet. This was exactly the case at this wonderful bed and breakfast. Adele runs a top quality accomodation. She is an excellent host and an instant friend. The bed and breakfast is in a wonderful neighborhood outside of the busy city center. It's easy to travel to and from the sights of Rome via the public transportation system. There are many classy restaurants and shops nearby. The house itself is beautiful and the rooms are thoughtfully arranged with stylish decor. The rooms were quiet, private, and comfortable. Our only complaint is that we didn't stay long enough. We will definitely return to stay at Adele's bed and breakfast again. This is a top-notch accomodation and excellent value for Rome.
My Husband and I stayed with Adele end of Sept. Firstly Adele has a very beautiful house and she is a wonderful warm, friendly & helpfull hostess!!! Her two beautiful and obedient dogs add to the character of the place. Breakfast was a great experience, everyone sat around a large table so it gave you a chance to chat to the other guests in the morning time it was like united nations with Ireland, France and Germany at the table together!!! Adele Emme B&B is spotlessly clean and is situated in a nice quiet district but there are two very good restaurants 5 mins walk away also a good pub and an ice cream shop just minutes walk. The centre of Rome is only 4/5 bus stops away with a very good regular bus service. It truely was a wonderful, authentic roman, warm and friendly stay with Adele! Adele's speaks good english too which is great. Also while we travelled down south for a few days Adele held onto sum luggage for us. We will return again!!! Sheila, Co Cork, Ireland.
We really enjoyed our stay at Adele Emme B&B. It was a wonderful place to stay, and Adele helped make our trip to Rome so enjoyable. She is very accommodating, and loves to make sure her guests are comfortable and satisfied. Adele lives on-site, and is accessible if you have any needs. Her English is very good, and she even taught us some good Italian phrases. We came as customers, we left as friends.
It is very clean (spotless!) and comfortable, with a refrigerator and stove in the dining room that is available for all to use. There are three bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. They were very clean and modern, way better than many hotels I've stayed in. She has a computer with internet access. If you bring your own laptop, there is also secure wireless internet. The wireless internet was great. I was able to Skype with my family, upload to Facebook, order tickets to museums and look up bus routes all week long. Breakfasts were continental, and she makes fresh espresso every morning. Wow was the espresso good! My wife wasn't a coffee drinker until we went to Rome. Now she is making espresso and cappuccinos here! There are two grocery stores (Super Mercato) just two blocks away. You can save money if you want to buy some fresh groceries versus eating out all the time. There was a fruit stand on the corner of the building, too. Perfect for our first trip to Rome.
We chose not to rent a car (very wise) and use the bus system. The home is in a great location to catch the 63 or 630 bus, which is a 7 minute ride to Barberini or Piazza Venezia, which puts you in walking distance to the Trevi Fountain, The Pantheon, the Colosseum, Piazza Navone, and so many other attractions. About 6 block from the home is the 19 tram which takes you to the Vatican/St Peter's, Villa Borghese or the Piazza De Popolo. No matter where you want to go in Rome, access to buses, the tram, the Metro (subway) or even TrenItalia (the trains that take you out of town) is not difficult.
You are about three blocks away from Villa Ada, one of the largest parks in Rome. I really enjoyed going for morning walks there - a break from the urban life of Rome - with trails, birds and a pond. Very peaceful.
I highly recommend staying with Adele in her bed & breakfast, and her home.
My sister and I stayed with Adele in Sept of 2011. Adele made our visit to Roma the best experience possible. She was so very helpful with directions, with recommending places to visit, to eat, to park our car...she was amazing!!! And her English is fabulous!! I feel I've made a wonderful new friend!!
Her home is beautiful and very well maintained...very clean!! Our room was lovely, with air conditioning and our own bathroom. We had plenty of space and were free to come and go as we pleased. The courtyard surrounding her home is so beautiful and relaxing. There were lots of trattorias, cafes and markets within easy walking distance. Adele also served a continental breakfast every morning and there was a fridge available that you could share with the other guests as well. It is very quiet and peaceful and her dogs Vicky and Wendy are lovely!!! They are very respectful of everyone's space and won't intrude if you don't want them too.
Transportation is very easy around Adele's b & b...20 meters to the bus stop which will connect you very quickly to the Termini Station and you can get anywhere in Roma from there. Also, the tram stop is just down the street and makes a very scenic ride to the Vatican.
When I go back to Roma, I will definitely stay with Adele again! She made Roma such an amazing experience for us!! Thanks again Adele!!
Hi everybody, have you ever thought about how could be living in one of those beautiful Rome old houses?
If you did, now you have the opportunity!
ifi you are looking for a place where you really feel like at home, Adele is the perfect place for you and your family; the apartment is wonderful, it's part of an ancient buinding surrounded by beatiful trees and flowers, high ceilings and very clean! It has everything you need: rooms are spacious and well furnished, with private bathroom; a big kitchen/dining room where you can enjoy of a wonderful breakfast prepared by Adele every morning, you can use or better share the refrigerator to store your own food and you have internet access, if you don't have your pc with you, there's a pc as well!
It's confortable and close to a lot of public transportation you can get over all the city in a few time; via Veneto, Fontana di Trevi, Via del corso, teatro Marcello; Vatican city, Termini station and also the famous ponte Milvio (the lovers bridge, where people in love use to put a lock to lock their love).
The borough is plenty of stores, restaurants and bars; I suggest you to save a few time to visit it, it's really worth, streets where ancient, amazing villas make you know Rome as you see in the old movies.
if you like running, bring your sneakers with you, walk few blocks and reach villa Ada,then just enjoy!
One more thing: Adele is a wonderful person and she has two beautiful, lovely golden retriver: if you love pets you will find in them all the love they can give you, but if you don't like pets they won't bother you at all.
That's it, I hope I didn't forget anything and I hope you will find the same atmosphere my husband and I found.
Enjoy your next trip to Rome
We had a wonderful experience at Adele Emma, a charming place with a warm and welcoming host. Our room was spacious and clean, with everything we needed. Adele herself is one of the best reasons to stay there - she was so gracious and helpful. Nice, upscale neighborhood with everything you need, but away from the noise and crowds. When we left after 3 nights, we felt like we were saying goodbye to a dear friend. It was a great experience and start to our first trip to Italy.
We are in the arts district Coppedè located in one of the greenest and most elegant of Rome, the 'Trieste wage' a few steps from the Parioli and Auditorium, between Porta Pia, Villa Borghese and the Termini train station.
District alive and safe, able to satisfy any of the guests: bars, supermarkets, outdoor markets, cinemas, theaters, pizzerias, restaurants and various shops.
We are well connected with both the historical center with all the other areas of Rome.
