• Accommodations: Our Condo (Townhouse) will sleep 10. The are 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in each, plus a loft with a queen Murphy’s Bed and a spacious closet. There are also 2 queen sofa sleepers, one in the downstairs living area and one in the loft, so there is a total of 5 queens that will sleep 10. There is also a hide a way bed stored in the closet, 10' wider than a twin for children. Each floor has one bathroom.

Guests may use the 1 car garage under the unit, and there is also parking for 2 cars in front. You can walk the two blocks to the ski lift or take the shuttle, which stops right across the street, so you can easily come back from skiing for lunch or a break.

Most of the living areas have soaring vaulted ceilings giving the unit a feeling of space, and large picture windows look out the north toward trees and Wheeler Peak. There is also a nice deck with a table and chairs and a gas barbeque.

There is free WiFi and cable TV to the main living area and loft.

There is extra bedding and towels stored in the closets, and a washer/dryer upstairs. The kitchen is well stocked with pans and utensils for at least 10 guests.

Extra firewood is stored in the garage, which also has room to store your skiing equipment, golf clubs, bikes and fishing equipment.

Each room has baseboard heaters with controls in each room. There is an additional gas wall heater near the kitchen and dining area. The upper floor bathroom has a Jacuzzi tub. The downstairs bathroom has a shower. There is no air conditioner, but most evenings are cool in the summer and there is usually a nice breeze through the screened windows and sliding door screen to the deck. Summer daytime temperatures average in the upper 70s.

The dining room table has eight chairs, and a card table is in the corner of the living area that can be set up to seat four more. A sofa and two swivel chairs are in the living area, with another seat on the rock fireplace ledge. The loft also has a sofa and swivel chair.

We live in Amarillo and have owned the property since it was new. We still love coming up whenever we can, and each season is special in its own way.

We chose this comfortable 3-bedroom townhouse which can easily accommodate more than one family. We love the view out the picture windows of the pine trees and snow capped mountains to the northwest. The vaulted ceilings and cozy fireplace make for a great mountain feeling. It’s convenient having a garage for storing all our gear.

We have a local property manager watching after our property, and he is available to take care of any problems you might have. We want you to have a great experience on your vacation in our home. We take all the bookings and are available to answer any questions you might have. We hope you’ll choose to stay here; we're sure you’ll be happy you did!

Great family ski trip for group of seven adults. We were amazed how close the condo was to rentals, shops and grocery store! Shuttle was very convenient to and from the base. Would recommend this condo to everyone...had a great layout.

This was perfect for our family group. So easy to drive or catch the shuttle to the slopes! Condo was perfect for our group of 10 adults and children. Owner was very helpful with information and worked with us on check-in time since we were driving in from the Houston area. Would definitely stay again!

Great ski trip

We had a great ski trip! It was my twin sister's family and my family. There were six kids! The rental was in a great location. You could take the shuttle that was across the street from he condo or drive. We drove only because of the amount of kids and their ski equipment. Next time, though, we would for sure rent a ski storage rental equipment place by the slope to keep the equipment. The youngest skier was four and that is a lot of equipment. It is just easier to keep the equipment as close to the slopes as possible when you have little children. We felt the condo had all of the things we needed. The beds were really comfortable and there was plenty of space for the ten of us! The condo was stocked with all of the essentials. We had a fantastic time and would definitely go back! Excellent value for the money spent.

1000-yr Flood Bike Weekend

We had a very comfortable stay in the condo. It was so easy to ride our bikes straight out of the garage directly to the lift! Although conditions were slopy muddy at top and pretty wet, the riding was a lot of fun. The sun peeked out enough to warm us up before the end of the day. We were all a muddy mess - that's biking, yes? The hose came in particularly handy for rinsing all the crud out of our gear. There's a hose at the lift so you can rinse your bike.

Anyway, back to the condo... although we'd anticipated eating out, we ended up cooking in the whole weekend. We were just too tired to go out! The kitchen is more than adequately stocked - we grilled steaks one night and cooked spaghetti another. It was so great to be able to plop down in front of the TV for some football...

A word on Angel Fire bike park (we loved it!!)...
It has some great runs and is organized very well – trails are marked great!! We stayed on greens mostly then ventured to some blues on our 2nd and 3rd runs. We probably could have gotten another 2 or 3 in if we’d started when they opened, but it rained all morning – and was a bit too chilly. The rain eventually stopped and the sun came out to warm things up a bit before all was said and done:
Start on Ziggy (green) at the top
Take Deisel (blue) across the road
Pick up Combi to Sierra all the way to the bottom
Keep in mind we were trying to avoid the sloppiest mud. We were very curious to try Duke and Lower Boogie – but not in wet conditions. We’ll have to return to try the rest :)
