This is a favorite unit of 'RecoletaTerrace'. A 1 bedroom apartment in Recoleta, located on the 10th floor of a new building with amenities. It faces the inside of the block, so there is no street noise. It's conveniently located on Pueyrredon Avenue, between French and Juncal Streets in Recoleta, just two blocks away from Plaza Barrientos, where you have restaurants & bars, and 4 blocks from the Recoleta Cemetery & Recoleta Mall (more restaurants, Village Cinema center, etc). On the same street of the apartment as you walk out you'll find sidewalk cafes, renowned Freddo Ice Cream, and even Starbucks.
This Recoleta apartment has a bedroom with a private bathroom and a queen size bed; a living room with a guest toilet, a 2 meter sofa and a 32' LCD with cable TV, DVD and private broadband internet with wifi; the kitchen is modern and is open to the living room area. The 140 square foot private balcony-terrace can be accessed directly from either the living room or the bedroom.
Both the bedroom and the living room have air conditioning units and the apartment has central heating with temperature controls in multiple areas.
If you're looking for a bright & sunny, modern apartment with ammenities and located in the best area of Recoleta, don't pass up on this one.
I was traveling alone, but felt safe at all times in this neighborhood and building. Twenty-four hour doormen, rooftop swimming pool, gym and coin laundry, and the apartment is in the back of the building, so there’s no traffic noise. In addition, the apartment has a large balcony with its own charcoal grill, so you can barbecue your own fabulous steaks from the big supermarket around the corner, and the kitchen has all the basics to cook the occasional meal. But with all kinds of restaurants in a four-block radius (from the delicious empanadas at no-frills La Cocina to the upscale food and service of Oviedo, one of the best in town), why would you want to cook? Since it’s summer there now, most cafes and restaurants are open till very late at night, meaning there are lots of people walking at all hours. This is an excellent neighborhood, a short walk to Recoleta and its famous cemetery and Design Center, with cheap taxis easy to find day and night, and it’s only four blocks to the subway. You even have a Freddo ice cream parlor one block away, to indulge in their delicious “dulce de leche” ice cream!
But the best about this apartment is management. Check-in and check-out went smoothly, deposit was returned at once, they even provided a local cell phone (no landline). Whenever I needed anything from Refah or Connie, they were available and ready to help, including the time when I locked myself out. I’ve had extensive experience with rental apartments, but I’d never found such nice, efficient managers. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the beds (that’s why I’m giving the apartment 4 stars instead of 5), but I’m sure Refah and Connie will take care of this promptly. I will definitely be back!
This apartment is in a great location: 6 short blocks to the Recoleta Cemetery, big supermarket around the corner, lots of taxis day and night, less than 4 blocks to the subway and buses almost right outside the door. It's also a great place to walk to and from, with first-rate restaurants nearby (Oviedo, for example). I was traveling alone and felt safe walking home after late dinners. Friendly doormen will lock and unlock the building door for you, adding to the sense of security. The apartment is in the back of the building, so no street noise, and you can even barbecue some fabulous Argentine steaks on your own charcoal grill. The kitchen has all the basics if you want to cook some of your meals, and everything is clean. The building has a nice rooftop pool, a washer and dryer and a gym (never used any of these amenities, though). I would have given it a 5-star rating if it had newer beds, which I reported to management, so I hope the problem will be taken care of as soon as possible. Both Refah and Connie, the managers, were always available and prompt to respond. They even showed up with a new set of keys when I locked myself out! I've rented several apartments in Buenos Aires, so I can say without a doubt that this couple really excel at their job. Thank you guys, hope to see you again soon!
