Discover why this property has been named 'Lalaland'! Enjoy breathtaking views of the Bristol Hills and vineyards, fresh country air that is grape-scented in the fall. View the spectacular star-filled sky from the hot tub or side deck. Get a bird's-eye-view of the countryside from the widow's watch.
Cook in the fully-equipped kitchen or on the outdoor grill. Play in the music room, where you will find piano, organ, small dulcimer, accordion, guitar, recorder and harmonica. Snuggle up with a good book in the cozy library.
Lalaland is only one mile from central Naples, where you will find great restaurants, local artists, Bristol Valley Regional Theater, hiking trails, a frisbee course, set-in for canoe or kayak in Canandaigua Lake.Borrow a bicycle at the local ice cream stand, and ride through quaint Naples streets. In winter, skiing is 8 miles away and cross-country trails as close as 2 miles.
Whether you choose to stay in or explore out, you will have a wonderful, relaxing and memorable visit. Hey, it's Lalaland!!
After getting married recently, and moving into my husband's home, we decided to make Lalaland a vacation rental. It is such a beautiful and special place, I could not even consider selling it! I hope my renters enjoy the tranquility, beauty, aesthetic spirit, and joy that I find here.
There is a special feeling in this area. The air is clean, fragrant and the views of the hills and vineyards are wonderful. I was impressed with the beauty of this old house, where modernization did not remove the charm of this 1898 Victorian. The Naples community are friendly, artistic and musical folks who take pride in their town and businesses.
I love the 'feel' of an old house, yet am spoiled by modern comforts! I love sitting in the library, looking out at the view. The widow's watch feels like being in a tree-house.Sitting up there, watching the moonrise or sunrise, or a thunderstorm coming in, is an amazing experience.
The side deck and swing are a great place to watch the birds or deer, or have a glass of wine as twilight sets in. The night stars here are magnificent- no street lights dim the skies!
There is plenty of activity and entertainment close-by, but then you can come home to old-world serenity and comfort. Truly the best of both worlds.
