Strike out on a wide variety of outings-from boutique shopping and fine dining to paddling and kayaking. Historic downtown Gig Harbor is a quaint town and home to Kelly’s Restaurant, Harbor History Museum, the Tides Tavern, Uptown Gig Harbor shopping center, and an active waterfront with seasonal festivals.
Horsehead Bay is a dream location. Walk on the dock, hop in a kayak right here for a paddle around Horsehead Bay and views of the Olympics and Mt. Rainier. Built in 2005, the property has living quarters with spacious accommodations that are flexible and loaded with amenities.
The 3-bedroom home offers a kitchen, living room, bedroom, ¾ bath, laundry room and an outdoor shower on the main floor. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms and a full bath. The beautiful yard offers waterfront access for kayaking and a beach for relaxation. Kayaks, paddleboat and great views of the bay from chairs at the beach! This is one of the only sandy beaches on the bay. Experience the tides coming in and out of the bay and the magnificent bird watching. There is also a play set for children located in the front yard. You can spread out in the spacious interior accommodations and get comfortable here. Also located on the bay, ½ mile down the beach is an all tides boat ramp if you wish to bring your boat. The local neighborhood market, the Arletta Store, is conveniently located less than 2 miles up the street. Selling groceries, gas, ice, and more. It even has milk crates full of tennis balls, baseballs, bats and mitts on loan for the neighborhood kids who use them across the street at the small ball field and tennis courts.
We are located in a rural residential neighborhood and we are committed to preserving the tranquility and property rights of those that live in the area. As such, we prefer longer-term rental agreements, but we accommodate shorter-term rentals with a signed rental agreement that ensures respect for nearby property and privacy. We are a good fit if you enjoy tranquility, and are respectful of persons, property and peaceful living.
