Apartment (85 m2) located on the 4th floor of a block of 8 apartments

This apartment is situated in a central, yet quiet location with wonderful views from all rooms over the marina and Lake Geneva. Constructed to a very high standard, maintained in pristine condition and painted in 2010, the apartment offers practical and comfortable accommodation for four people. A lift provides access from the parking space inside the building and there is a separate access at street level, one floor above the apartment, providing short walking distances to a bank, pharmacy, bakery, post office, supermarket, shops, bars and restaurants. The private roof terrace above the 5th floor can be used by guests and provides a magnificent panoramic view over the lake and surrounding mountains.

The train station (and local tourist office) and the passenger ferry terminal are close by and offer a wide variety of excursion possibilities. A car is not essential.

The apartment benefits from its proximity to the station, which is within a short walking distance of the entrance to the apartment on the ground floor and the lift.

This means that guests can arrive by train.

It is possible to enjoy excursions by train and ferry boat without the need to have a car.

There is a separate entrance on the 5th floor and a Post Office, Pharmacy, Supermarket, Bakery, and Bank are all within one or two minutes walking distance.

    Bedding is CHF 20 per person.
    Towels are provided for use in the apartment. Beach towels are not provided.
    Deposit payable on arrival is CHF 300, refundable on departure if there are no missing items or breakages.
    Tourist tax is extra and depends on the number of guests staying in the apartment. Current rates are CHF 1.30 per night for adults and CHF 0.65 per night for children 6 to 15 years of age.
    Please note that arrival and departure days are Saturdays in December and January. In other months, by arrangement arrival and departure dates may be any day of the week.

    Reservation made 30 days or less prior to the first day of the stay: the full amount is due immediately.
    Reservation made 31 days or more prior to the first day of the stay: 50% of the full amount of the reservation payable within 10 days of the reservation being made and the remaining balance no later than 30 days prior to the first day of the stay.
  • Payment is by bank transfer to an account in Switzerland.
    The total number of people permitted to stay is 4 persons and this includes children.
    Children should be age 6 years or older.
    Check-in starting at 16.00 hours. Check-out before 10.00 hours.

  • The bathroom has a bath tub and shower at the head of the bath, a WC and wash basin. In a smaller room there is a separate WC with wash basin and shower enclosure. Towels are provided for use in the apartment. Beach towels are not provided.

  • Linen is provided and beds are made up in advance of guest's arrival. The linen charge is CHF 20 per person. Both bedrooms are about the same size. One bedroom has two twin beds 90 x 200 which are currently side by side and king size bed linen is available so the bed can be made up as a double bed. The two beds can be separated and used as two single beds using single bed linen. The second bedroom has a new leather sofa which can be easily opened to form a very comfortable queen size bed. There is linen for the queen size bed. In the second bedroom there is a bureau for writing and the Broadband cable Internet connection is in that room. The second bedroom has two windows and a door which opens onto the balcony, so it is bright and airy with views over the marina and the lake.

The living room has a fireplace: firewood is not provided. The living room has cable connection for TV. The circular dining table can be extended using one or two central leaves and six dining chairs are provided. The living room has a door to the balcony, with a table and four chairs. There is a reclining chair and four other portable chairs which can be taken to the private roof terrace above the 5th floor. The terrace affords panoramic views over the port, the lake and mountains to Montreux, Vevey and further west. A raclette machine can be used on the balcony, Guests can use the laundry room on the 3rd floor. This has a washing machine, drier and clothes drying area. If this facility is required guests should ask on arrival for special jetons to operate the washing machine and the drier. The parking space is inside the building adjacent to the ground floor entrance and the lift. The 5th floor entrance is at street level and close to a bakery/cafe.

> We have travelled Europe for 2 months and Le Lacustre was the best
