Kings Beach House Rental Photos and Description
House, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 8)
Looking for a Lake Tahoe beach getaway that's close to everything? This warm and inviting three bedroom vacation townhome is only a quarter of a mile from the beach! A nice stroll through the quiet neighborhood will take you to shops, restaurants, and right to Kings Beach State Park, with its 700 feet of sandy beach and shore.
Blending into the surrounding Ponderosa Pine trees with its stone and wood facade, this townhome's interior is just as welcoming. In the open living room, a soothing neutral color palette greets you with plush beige carpeting, an off-white leather couch, and pops of color from strategically placed throw pillows. The gas fireplace will warm up any chilly mountain nights you may encounter. A flat screen TV with cable and a DVD player is all set for movie nights! Bring discs from home or just peruse this home's DVD library for something good to watch.
The full kitchen is compact, but loaded with shiny granite countertops and all the appliances needed for fixing meals and cleaning up afterwards, from oven with stovetop to dishwasher. There's even a pantry for storing groceries. Start the morning with toast, jam, coffee, and fruit at the breakfast bar and end the day with a pot roast feast shared by everyone around the table. Outside there is a charcoal grill, so you may just decide to pick up some steaks and beer and make an outdoor evening of it.
Head upstairs to the bedrooms and you will find a large room with a comfortable queen platform bed, bright bedding, and another TV with cable. You'll be perfectly content to lie in bed and use the WiFi to check your email - or just spend the morning sleeping in. The other two bedrooms each hold a double and a twin bed. Two and a half bathrooms are conveniently located throughout the house, as is a washer and dryer for guest use. This house will sleep eight guests comfortably.
While the interior is certainly comfortable, you and your group will want to head to the nearby beach for a lot of fun in the sun - swimming, boating, kayaking, fishing, picnicking and maybe just relaxing on a beach blanket with a good book. Adventurous types may want to do some parasailing high above the water, while others may just be content to rent a paddleboat and see the sights from down on the lake.
In winter, all of Lake Tahoe is a snowy, scenic wonderland. Northstar Ski Area is less than a 15 minute drive away and Squaw Valley is less than 20 miles west. The North Lake Tahoe SnowFest happens every year in early March, with 10 jam-packed days of fun events and activities at area resorts, neighborhoods, and establishments.
Dining in Kings Beach is very easy, with most options even walkable from the townhome. A hot and hearty breakfast of pancakes, creative eggs benedict dishes, and breakfast burritos can be found at the Log Cabin Cafe. Or for a special dinner overlooking the lake, head to Jason's Beachside Grill for steaks, seafood, wine, or microbrews. Or maybe just kick back and munch on a burrito at La Mexicana Taqueria on a lazy, sunny afternoon. The area's world-famous casinos are just a few minutes drive away for gambling, nightlife and entertainment.
From this perfect vacation house's location at Kings Beach, the only trouble you'll have is deciding what to do first. May we suggest heading right to the beach and contemplating it all while you dig your toes into the sand?
