Angie Verf purchased this apartment in 2013
Conveniently located at midtown west, 4 blocks to subway station, walking distance to lots of city attractions, modern, comfortable, and spacious, perfect for family vacation or business trips. Luxury hotel enjoyment with much reasonable cost than hotels.
Breathtaking Rooftop Sky deck, enjoy the city and river view day and night. Spotless clean and spacious living, full kitchen and build in laundry in apartment, make your stay feels like in home.
This apartment is in a fantastic position at the North edge of Hell's Kitchen. The apartment is just great and Angie does everything possible to make your stay a success. She replied very speedily after my enquiry and provided lots of information in the apartment. Two good sized bed rooms and two full bathrooms ensure a family or two couples can stay comfortably. The presence of A/C means that even in steamy weather the place remains comfortable . 52nd street is in an ideal position to cover so much of Manhatten. Great restaurants on 9th and 8th Avenue and the subway at 8th Avenue allows acces to anywhere quickly. Why pay hotel costs for a small room ( they all are) when this apartment provides so much more. My family and I had a fantastic week based here so if you are planning to go to NY then check out this place. The bonus is a spectacular roof top patio where the views day and night are stunning. Add the gym and you have everything you could need. Brilliant thanks Angie for your help
This place is such a joy to return to time and time again. The apartment is in tip top condition. Every amenity is available. And then there's the great view of the Hudson from the apartment and the roof deck. Plus this part of Manhattan now has some great restaurants (e.g. Taboon). I'd recommend it highly.
Great location, very clean and well appointed apartment with a great roof-deck. Our group of four loved having our own place to hang out in rather than hotel rooms. I really can't say enough about how great Angie is as a host and how smooth and enjoyable this apartment made our stay in the greatest city on Earth. We hope to be staying again on the future.
Our group of 5: 4 adults and one teenager, found this apartment the most perfect and affordable lodging situation for our long weekend in NYC. SOOOOO much better than being in separate hotel rooms. There are two full baths, well equipped kitchen (we only used for breakfast and happy hour), very comfortable beds and bedding, great living room furnishings, fantastic views including sunsets, and be sure to go to the roof day and night to see the views from there! Owner is super nice and responsive. We will definitely stay here from now on when we have more than 2 people.
When you stay here, be sure to eat at the little local Italian cafe around the corner, Il Baretto. So great we ate there twice! We could not have been more pleased with this choice.
This apartment is perfectly located in Manhattan - walking distance to all Broadway Musicals, Times Square, Central Park and the City Sightseeing Boats. Great modern apartment with all amentities you may want in the two bathrooms and kitchen. You will get unparalleled skylines views, including the Empire State Building, from the rooftop terrace and fitness studio. There is a wonderful French Restaurant on the first floor, where we had breakfast in the morning. Angie, the owner has been extremely helpful in all the planning and during our stay. We would come back in a heartbeat!
We thought that the apartment would be an ideal base for touring New York and weren't disappointed. As a family of 6 people (visiting from the UK), including 3 teenage children we wanted an independent base for a week in New York. Joining arrangements went as planned and the place was beautifully clean and tidy on arrival and felt like home. The beds are really comfortable, the showers work well, as does the air conditioning (essential in August, as it was 30 degrees outside...) The building is a very smart block and the lift (elevator) is super quick. The views of Manhattan are truly fantastic including a good view of the Empire State Building, and the roof terrace is a great place to relax, as is the residents' lounge on the top floor. My 18 year old daughter made good use of the running machines in the gymnasium too - there are plenty of those and the other residents don't use them very much!
The apartment is just a short walk to shops and restaurants as well as midtown Manhattan (and is on 52nd Street/10th Avenue. Open-topped tourist buses are available on 8th Avenue and we managed to get a 3 day ticket with City Tours extended to 6 days (just push the street vendors as far as they will go!) so that we could use these buses to get about and to enjoy the lively commentary by the tour guides. Highly recommended.
