My furnished home is move-in ready and offers a gourmet kitchen (Sub Zero refrigerator), washer/dryer, split bath (toilet in one room, with sink and tub/shower in another), hardwood floors, two-room see-through gas fireplace and a southern facing sunroom with a deck that overlooks my neighbor's amazing garden. Lots of hot water and storage space.
Note: San Francisco can get chilly in the evenings and winter coats are cumbersome to pack. To ensure your comfort, there will be a selection of outer wear (multiple sizes) for you to use during your stay. Please leave any coats/jackets used in the Master bedroom when you leave so I may launder them for the next guest.
The commercial corridor features everything you'll need: postal chase, pharmacy/drug store, liquor store, hair, spa and nail salons and all manner of specialty stores.
The neighborhood has lots of coffee houses (Reverie, Crepes on Cole)and a great patisserie (La Boulange).
There's a wonderful new mexican restaurant (Padrecito) in addition to sushi (Grandeho's Kamekyo), italian (Bambinos), french (Zazie) and american (burgermeister, kezar pub) fare.

My favorite room in the house is the sunroom (although my kitchen is a close second). The sunroom has great light throughout the day and overlooks a gorgeous garden. I enjoy biking to the beach and back (8 miles roundtrip and half is UP hill!) and/or hiking the nearby hills (twin peaks is located just to the south of me).

Best known for its world-class attractions – the de Young Museum, the California Academy of Sciences and the Conservatory of Flowers – the east end of Golden Gate Park is a great place to spend an afternoon even if you can’t afford any admission tickets. Rich in history and filled with gardens, statues, memorials and vistas, this end of the park offers experiences as light-hearted as a carousel ride and as sobering as a visit to the National AIDS Memorial Grove.
Don’t want to rent a car? No problem – my property is one block from the N Judah metro line (and a Zip Car station is three blocks away).
In addition to the local Cole Valley retail shops (one block away), the vibrant Haight Ashbury and Inner Sunset (Irving Street) dining and shopping areas are just steps away.
Easy walk or three stops on the Metro to UCSF, with great commute connections to Stanford and Berkeley. Going east on the metro it’s 20 minutes to the ball park (home of the World Champion SF Giants!) and 12 minutes to Union Square (more great shopping); going west it’s 15 minutes to Ocean Beach.
20 minutes and and an easy public transportation commute to Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39.
