Salir chalet is a traditional style Portuguese beach house that stands in a shallow valley on the banks of a little river in a completely private position. The villa has 3 bedrooms / 1 large bathroom, a spacious lounge/Diner with TV, DVD, Film collection, music system and has bright airy French windows that lead onto the veranda overlooking the garden. It has a fully equipped kitchen with separate dining table, a utility room and plenty of outside space for adults and children alike.

Decorated and equipped to a very high standard, the villa is located just 400 metres from the nearest beach that is accessible by pathway along the banks of the river that runs in front of the property.

Off-Season Charges: During the Off-season period between 01 November and 31 March, excluding the Christmas and New year period, there is a one-off extra charge for utilities of Euro €45.00 per week to help cover the cost of electricity, gas, water and heating. Please just add this amount to the rental price.

Notes

  • Christmas Period 2010 and New Year's Eve - 22 December 2010 - 03 January 2011. GB £190 per night. Please inquire with the owner for more details.

    There is an initial booking deposit of 30% of total rental amount that is payable at the time of booking. the balance is usually payable 4-6 weeks before your arrival by bank transfer. All payments are to be made in Euros. A fully refundable GB £300.00 security/ breakage is payable 4-6 weeks before commencement of the holiday. This amount will be returned to you by bank transfer within 10 working days of your departure from the villa.

    The rental rates DO NOT include end of vacation cleaning fees which will be charged extra @ GB £65.00 and this amount will be added to your bill at the time of booking.
  • If your stay is more than 10 nights, we provide extra sheets and towels for your use, but no mid-holiday clean is provided within the rental price listed. If you do require a mid-holiday clean, then this can be arranged at an extra cost of GB £45/- for a light clean or GB £65/- for a full clean. Please check with the owner when booking the villa.

    If you are staying less than 7 nights during the High, mid and low seasons, then the end of vacation cleaning is charged @ GB £65/- extra. Please ask the owner about this if you have any doubts.

    Extra bed linen can be provided @ GB £6.50/- per set and extra bath towels can be provided for GB £3.50/- per set.
  • The cost of Cleaning of the villa at the end of your holiday is included in the rental charge subject to the conditions laid out in the House rules document. There is a small extra charge of GBP £40.00 to cover the cost of Electricity, gas and water consumption. Non-seasonal heating during cold spells or during the winter months is charged extra @ GBP £15.00 per day. This cost can be conveniently deducted from your breakage/security deposit before the balance is return to you after your holiday.

Notes: Located within a short walk of the golden sanded beach at São Martinho Bay, you can take the morning out as soon as the sun rises. Take your afternoon lunch in one of the many restaurants lining the beach or just chill out from all the sun with a refreshment from one of the bars. The Bay offers a variety of water sports if that's your preference and you can book them through this very site too. New and paved walking or running paths can be used to take full advantage of a calorie burning afternoon. Caldas da Rainha, the historically well known thermal city can be reached within a 15 minute drive and here you can shop in the daily fruit market where you'll find the best the region has to offer in terms of fresh produce. There are also many hypermarkets in the area to stock up on daily provisions in São Martinho along with the daily produce market.
