Beautiful cottage

  • 5 of 5
The cottage was a peaceful haven to us in the middle of a hectic tour, allowing us to totally relax and recharge. Charmingly decorated and with everything we needed, including off street parking and a small garden in which to sit, we couldn't believe our luck in finding it. Lounge/ dining, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom are all very well appointed. Whilst a car is necessary it is very well located and the owner was very helpful and great to deal with. We look forward to staying here again

Lovely property, excellent location

  • 5 of 5
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Petite Maison. The cottage is absolutely delightful, very well equipped and extremely comfortable. It has been decorated and furnished to a very high standard, and so thoughtfully - we thought it was lovely. It is situated in a beautiful part of Provence. There are so many places to visit within easy reach - you need a car, but don't have to spend long in it!
The cottage suited us perfectly: we like our creature comforts these days and it provided them. We like exploring interesting old villages and lovely countryside and found both in abundance. We enjoy visiting historical towns and found those in easy reach too. It really doesn't get much better than this!

Perfect Retreat!

  • 5 of 5
In October we spent magic week in Robion. We stayed in the XVIII century stone cottage managed by British owners Jennifer and Robert who live in adjacent farmhouse.
The house is beautifully restored. It has retained architectural integrity - exposed wooden been, stone walls, and living room with high ceiling. The standard of the finish is exceptional. The house is tastefully furnished and spotless with irresistible scent of lavender. There is a large, open-plan living room with modern, fully equipped kitchen with new appliances, very comfortable bedroom and bathroom. The other key feature of this property is the lovely, sunny terrace. While description of the property on Homeaway site is accurate, the picture does not precisely portray its attractiveness and beauty. This is an exceptional place.
The property is centrally located just miles away from Avignon, Arles, St Remy. The place is quiet, secluded and heavenly to return to each afternoon. It is set in beautiful, open countryside, surrounded by vineyards and meadows in a location that is ideal for visiting the local hilltop villages/ towns like Goult, Gourdes, Lacoste, Roussillon or Bonnieux.
The hosts were wonderful. They were attentive to our needs and discreet. They went well out of the way to ensure our stay was the best. They welcomed us with wine and cheese, which was well appreciated after long hours of driving. They told us about villages in the area worth to explore, vineyards with fine wine, and local marketplaces. They arranged Information about the region in the binder for use of the guests. We are very thankful to our hosts. We recommend their wonderful gem to everybody. We certainly will be back there.

This charming gite was not only beautifully presented but in a great central location to all places of interest as well as the local markets. We found the amenities to be of a high standard and quality....and what a comfortable bed, slept really well sometimes too well! Can highly recommend and what a bonus English TV, caught up on all the good shows on offer. Thank you Jenny and Rob

A little gem.

  • 5 of 5
Beautifully and thoughtfully restored to an extremely high standard. The house itself is cool, well equipped and spotlessly clean. There's a lovely private patio area for sunbathing and meals; or - if the Mistral is blowing - a very nice dining area indoors. It's also in a good location for seeing some of the most lovely villages and countryside in France. Best of all is the warmth of the welcome from the owners - knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. They've thought of everything. Thank you Jenny and Rob!

Great attention to detail and spotlessly clean.

  • 5 of 5
Well this is how a rental property should be!

The property was spotlessly clean with everything you need. The main area was very spacious along with the bathroom. The property is even nicer than the photographs. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and the property is full of nice touches which gave it a homely feeling. We were made to feel really welcome with a basket of essential supplies, including wine!

Initially we were going to book a property in Gordes but we were glad we chose this property as it was ideally placed to visit all the surrounding villages and was also within easy reach of restaurants and local shops, we should have booked for longer. We would definitely recommend this property.
