The apartment house Albrechtsburg was built in 1890 and is, after careful and substantial reconstruction (2006) one of the most beautiful vacation houses in the region. On the ground floor, there is a saloon with a wonderful marble fireplace. This room and the neighbouring library with access to a small inner court yard surrounded by a sand stone wall are exceptionally suitable for celebrations such as family parties or also for small seminars. The romantic garden has a discreet and exclusive location. The large table on the terrace invites you to sit and talk. The sunbathing area is perfect for recreation and relaxation. Enjoy the view over the city and the Elba River. The garden offers direct access to the Schlossberg and to the good hiking trails.

The health resort Bad Schandau is located on the Elba River, in the middle of the National Park of the Saxon Switzerland, with its strange rocks and romantic valleys. By steamboat or by S-Bahn, you can easily reach the further beauties of the Saxon and Bohemian Switzerland, or the famous Saxon cultural cities such as Dresden, Meissen and Pirna. 100 m away, you will find the historical tram which brings you to the Lichtenhainer Water Fall and in the back part of the National Park of the Saxon Switzerland. In the Tuscany spa, which you can reach within 5 minutes on foot, you will find adventure and relaxation, as well as many wellness offers.

Golf: There are 2 Saxon golf courses, 35 km away and a 9- hole golf course in Czech Republic, 17 km away.

Ski: The next ski lift is 25 km away. There are also cross country skiing possibilities.
