About Terri Rainier
As a native Floridian, I fell in love with the Smoky Mountains camping with my family as a young girl. When my parents retired they bought a place in the Springdale Country Club community and I really enjoyed the feel of the area and the people. So decided to buy my own place in the same community. I currently work/live in Singapore, however hope to retire at the charming cottage in the heart of the Smoky's. The picture is me (Terri), and my Singaporean partner, Aloyah, in front of the Biltmore House for my 50th birthday in January this year.
Terri Rainier purchased this cottage in 2012
Why Terri Rainier chose Asheville
While there were several homes to choose from within the Smoky mountains, I chose the Springdale Country Club community because of the beauty of the surrounding mountains (nestled between Cold Mt and Pisgah Mt ranges), the safety of the gated community, the friendliness of the neighbors, the proximity to Waynesville and Asheville, the nature activities nearby along the Blue Ridge Parkway (15min drive), the 10 min walk to the Pigeon River, and the closeness to my parents too!
What makes this cottage unique
Within the community, there were several homes for sale. I liked this one best because of the circular structure with panoramic mountain views and the serene yet rejuvenating feeling exuding from the cottage. Its essence is something special and deserves to be shared with others :)
