Perfect for our July Visit

This review is long overdue! Our family travels to Maine for an extended stay every 2 years. In times past we have been able to stay with family but due to families growing we found ourselves looking for a 'home away from home.' I can say with great confidence that we found just that in this vacation rental. The home was turned over to us in pristine condition, seriously, it was without flaw. Aesthetically the interior was BEAUITFUL! The outside was no less immaculate. There was plenty of room both inside and outside of this home to spread out and roam. The master's suite was very comfortable! If we could have boxed up the king sized bed and took it home with us we would have. Two other bedrooms slept an additional 5 or 6 which allowed for a cousin sleepover. Due to the fact we are from the South we were unaccustomed to sleeping with the windows open and road noise. I feel this only fair to mention for the light sleepers. There were plenty of fans on site to generate the right amount of white noise to muffle the traffic noise. I would not let this deter me in the future but its a good heads up for future visitors. The kids mentioned that their beds were a little too firm for their tastes but it was not a chronic source of complaint. There were plenty of towels and sheets for the beds/bath and having the on site laundry room was priceless! It was such a treat to be able to entertain the local family at our rental instead of them always treating us. The kitchen was well equipped with the only drawback being no microwave. This may be different now since the rental was still fairly new. Still, even the very minor details would not be enough to keep this family from securing this property on our next trip to the Great Northeast! Great house. Great Price. Great Amenities. In addition to this house being spectacular, the owner's sense of pride in ownership and obvious love for their part of the Maine made the visit even more enjoyable. Great communication, great follow-up and follow through, every last detail of this visit was carefully attended to and greatly appreciated! Would recommend this rental for all types of visitors whether it is for the weekend or for the month. Great property, great owners. Thanks for such a positive experience!!!
