P.S. We loved the games!
Awesome!!! The house was immaculate when we arrived, it had everything you could think of for a guest; more than any hotel. The owners were the most friendly and worked with us on out needs. And did I say the scenery; breath taking. YES would stay again and recommend this to anyone. THANKS FOR AN ENJOYABLE STAY!!!
My friend and I were going up for a large motorcycle gathering. We found Apple Blossom and decided it would be a great location and the price for a week was less than we could get a hotel room for. We contacted the owner, Liz and Bill and rented the property for a week. We found Apple Blossom to be well equipped and very clean and tidy. They even had a crib in one room in case a renter has a small child. It was perfect for us, right @ the base of the Blue Ridge Parkway. My favorite thing to do was to sit on the porch @ night and watch the lightning bugs flashing in the trees on the mountainside. They looked like Christmas trees with LED lights. Unfortunately my friend had a motorcycle accident and ended up in the hospital for 5 days. The owners, Bill and Liz found out about it and I was contacted by both on separate occasions and asked if there was anything that they could do to help. What great and caring people they are. This property is just remote enough to get you away from the city but close enough that shopping, amenities, and the interstate were only about 10 minutes away. I plan to go back and stay for a longer period of time with my wife in the future. It is great value for the money.
We found the rental to be clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The unit was simple but nicer than other more expensive places we've rented in the past. We were impressed with the way it has been cared for. It was convenient to all our destinations. We enjoyed seeing the cows out by the barn every morning and the mountains were beautiful.
This was the perfect rental and location for our vacation plans. The rental was very clean, in a beautiful setting and very centrally located for our day trips. It was so pleasant to look out on the barn and cows in the field with the background of changing leaves on the hills while sipping our morning coffee. The pictures are accurate and the owners are helpful and pleasant. We would definitely recommend this rental and would considering returning again. It was a great place for us to unwind and relax from a fast pace.
Can't brag enough on Apple Blossom house. Clean, stocked with everything one could possibly need while traveling. Owners go the extra mile to accommodate. Thoroughly enjoyed sitting on porch watching rabbits, bluebirds and grazing cows. Pisgah National Forest in back. Eight apple trees fully loaded made tasty baked and stewed apples. Short drive to Asheville (20 miles). Will definitely recommend to friends and will return in the future. Baby bed in one of bedrooms.
We made a great decision to stay at Apple Blossom! It was extremely clean, there is a beautiful view and downtown Asheville and Biltmore were just a short drive away. Plus Liz is probably the most thoughtful owner you could ever work with. If you are looking for something far enough away for a relaxing vacation but also close enough to all the attractions, this is the place.
