September 2013- All new furniture, paint and decor. 70' Sony flat screen in Living room and 50' Sony flat screen in Master bedroom. Beach chairs and umbrella available. Some pets are allowed. About Sandra & Peter Bolos

We are a family of four and live in a small town in upstate NY. From the very first time we visited Sanibel in 2003, we knew we wanted to be a part of it's way of life. From the beautiful beaches and shelling to the paved bike trails and wonderful people, it quickly became our home away from home.

Why Sandra & Peter Bolos chose Sanibel Island

Loggerhead Cay is on the quiet east end the island close to the causeway and just a short bicycle ride to shops and ice cream. The pool at Loggerhead Cay is one of the largest on the island, and the beach has a very gradual grade making for many tide pools at low tide and great shelling.

What makes this condo unique

We love #521 because it is a ground floor walkout unit. Walk out your screen door and it's only 100 steps to the beach and less than 50 steps to the pool. It is a corner unit that offers nice cross breezes and a beautiful ocean view. Being ground floor, the beautiful courtyard is your front lawn. while in the lanai you can watch people walking on the beach, listen to the ocean or see the pool area. You can also watch your kids play frisbee or ball in the outer courtyard. We allow small pets and the ground level makes this very convenient.

We LOVED this property so much we have already booked it for next year. It has everything to make us feel like we are at home away from home. The furniture and beds are extremely comfortable. The place is decorated so beautifully. We wanted to stay longer!! We have been gong to Sanibel for over 20 years and this place was as nice a condo as we have ever seen on the island. It ranks very high with us for the convenient location to the beach and pool. I miss it!!

EXCELLENT CONDO, ABSOLUTE PERFECTION & DOG FRIENDLY BEACH!!!

My husband and I spent a wonderful week at this condo. We have been on many beach vacations and I can honestly say that this has been the best beach vacation by far. I'm so glad we stayed here because I think this unit is a great vacation rental at Loggerhead Cay. First of all, the condo is super spacious and because it's on the ground floor, it seemed more like a home rather than a condo. It was so immaculate and clean that I could not believe it was a pet friendly condo. The view of the gulf and the grounds from the living area and master bedroom is just breathtaking. There is plenty of furniture in the living area, so if you are traveling with a larger party there is seating for everyone. The television in the living room is huge and we were pleasantly surprised that we could watch Netflix movies. Everything in this condo was perfect for us. There is even Wi-Fi. The kitchen was well equipped and very large. The beach is about a minute's walk from the condo and the pool is just a few steps. There is a walkway to the beach right outside the condo (very convenient when traveling with dogs) or you can go out the lanai to the beach. Loggerhead Cay is a very nice and well maintained condominium. You get the "resort" feel because of all the amenities. The location of Loggerhead is very close to the grocery store, restaurants and shops. The owners were very helpful in answering all my questions and the check in process was very quick and convenient. I would 100% recommend this unit. We loved it and you will too. We can't wait to go back.

Fantastic

We had never been to Sanibel before this trip. Wow were we surprised. The unit was great. Everything was as stated. Clean as a pin. Furnishings were super nice and tastefully decorated. Had one maintenance problem that was taken care of within 45 minutes of our notifying management. Would defininetly recommend this unit. Owners even called us on Sunday to make sure all was well.

We had a fantastic week at the condo. The location is close to the beach and pool and Loggerhead is well kept and located near restaurants and shopping. The condo is clean, updated and has a nice view of the gulf. We certainly plan on returning. Thank you for a great week.

Beauty at the beach

My husband and two young girls (3 1/2 and 1 1/2) just returned from Sanibel Island. This was our first time and everything exceeded expectations. I do not believe there is a better unit at Loggerhead and maybe in the area. First floor walk out to the beach and the pool, could not have been more convenient. The unit was clean, very well appointed and had all the beach essentials (chairs, umbrella, rafts, cooler etc). It was so easy to enjoy our stay. Also, loved that the pull-out couch was super comfortable - that's rare! Owners responded promptly to emails and had great restaurant recommendations. We hope to stay here again next summer!

Had a great stay and LOVED the condo. Excellent location, very well appointed. Perfect location with just steps to the beach. Condo has everything you would need, new furniture, great flat screen TV's in all rooms, very clean. Would absolutely stay again and plan to.
