Holiday perfection

We have recently returned from a wonderful 2 week holiday in France in an area we had not visited before.
The Residence Ambert could not have been bettered. It was absolutely BRILLIANT and the owners, Resi & Ambert, were the perfect hosts. We were given such a warm and sincere welcome by them both and if we needed them during our stay they were always on hand to help.
The accommodation was delightful, well furnished and very comfortable, as were the beds. We have never before experienced such a well equipped self catering property, plenty of crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, a dishwasher, hob, microwave plus a small oven. There was a television, stereo, dvd player and, should you have children, plenty of toys and games to play with.
The garden is a haven of peace and tranquility with all you need for outdoor dining, plus a BBQ area for cooking. (We would also certainly recommend booking a meal with the owners - we had a fantastic meal & evening with them).
Although St Grat is a small village, we found it to have a delightful ambiance and we visited many places of interest and great beauty in the region.
Resi & Ambert have thought of everything and have created near perfection at their Gite and we will certainly be recommending it to others and we hope to return ourselves.
