This is an exceptionnal setting considering that most buildings are at the same height in paris ( usually 6 to 7 floors) . you are at the 9th floor ( 10th american ) and above the city line. so plenty of day light . the building is on a dead end street . so no street noise .
your nearest metro is richard lenoir on line 5 ( less than 5 minutes ) but saint sebastien froissard on line 8 and saint amboise on line 9 are just a couple more minutes walking so very easy to get around. The bastille square with its metro hub and its busy night life is a 5 minutes walk. Le marais is also a 5 minutes walk .
The building has 2 elevators and is very secure.

a bright new a/c system was installed in august 2013 throughout the apartment.

First time VRBO user and absolutely satisfied. This apartment is not in the heart of the action, but that was a positive. It was our home for a week and a refuge from the hordes of tourists in July/August and, as others have noted, an incredibly convenient location. You cannot go wrong with this apartment. It was clean, comfortable, quiet and well stocked with basic items. Olivier was very helpful and trustworthy and contributed to a most enjoyable experience.
Thank you for a great stay in the Skyline Penthouse apartment.
The apartment is on the top floor (with two lifts and secure access) in the middle of the 11th arrondissement close to the Richard Lenior metro stop at the end of the street and close to the main road to Bastille, very convenient to walk to pick up 2 of the L'Open Hop on Hop off bus routes. Two Franpix supermarkets are a few minutes walking distance making it all very easy.
Having 2 bedrooms, spacious lounge and dining, practical kitchen, separate toilet and washer/dryer in the other bathroom were all great. The beds were comfortable and large but the lounge armchairs are a bit on the small side, couch is great.
Having more than just news channels in English to watch to relax at night would have been great, maybe a DVD with a few English speaking/subtitles movies would be a suggestion.
Also instructions in English for the washer/dryer would be helpful.
Security deposit was returned very promptly, thank you.
We had a great stay and would recommend staying here.
We loved this apartment. It was clean and comfortable and well maintained. The building was secure and the penthouse apartment was reached by elevator. The beds were comfortable with plenty of sheets and towels. The balcony was great for eating and admiring the view. The kitchen was well stocked which makes it easy if you wish to cook. The neighborhood was great with 2 metro lines nearby and many cafés and food stores to choose from. It was within walking distance to the Marais district. It had a dishwasher, coffee maker, washer, dryer and has wireless internet. We are glad you are updating the living room furniture. This place is unbeatable and we would rent it again without a doubt.
Thank you for a great stay. After looking at over 100 different spaces for a one-week stay in conjunction with my first trip to Paris and the French Open, we chose this penthouse apartment to afford us some extra space with a peaceful atmosphere to rest after a long day of exploring Paris. We were not disappointed.
The apartment was secure. Elevators were fast and made getting in and out convenient and easy, even with heavy bags. Kitchen was well appointed and stocked with everything we needed to make breakfast, -, stores, bakery, cafes all within a casual 4 minute walk. As others have mentioned, the comfy looking furniture in the living room should be abandoned soon, as was the plan. Tight fit between the kitchen sink and clothes dryer was inconvenient but easily tolerable. The apartment was clean with plenty of linens, towels, and pillows. It was cool so we didn't use the decks, but they were very inviting and would be great in warmer weather. The views were wonderful, and I found myself staring out the windows in a mesmerized stare of adoration.
Concerns - well, a couple of the bedside outlets didn't work and the power strip in the master bedroom gave us some problems.
Positives: Olivier was a great property manager. Internet, laundry, kitchen, coffee maker, access to subway (3 minute walk), proximity to restaurants, Marais district, markets, quiet, space to relax. I'd stay here again in a minute - especially after seeing what little E200 can buy in a hotel.
Thank you for this wonderful experience.
This is a very nice apartment in a nice, convenient neighborhood. The manager, Olivier, is very responsive and helpful. The apartment is well equipped with modern kitchen and bath. There is an amazing view from living/dining room. Beds are very comfortable. Only negatives are that the sofa and chairs in the living room are a bit past their prime and the access to the bathroom sink is a bit awkward due to location of washer/dryer...but having a nice washer/dryer is well worth the inconvenience.
I stayed at this apartment for 4 nights with 2 other friends whilst travelling around some cities in Europe. Oliver who manages the apartment was extremely helpful, he met us exactly when he said he would, showed us around the apartment and gave us tips on places to see in Paris etc. The apartment is on the top floor with a balcony offering great views of paris, it is nicely furnished and has wifi / tv and is extemely well maintained and clean. The apartment is close to a metro station (2 min walk) and there are restaurants and cafes within walking distance. We would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend to others to stay here and especially found Oliver very helpful and easy to deal with.
