Seabrook Island Villa Rental Photos and Description

1 BR/2 BA Beachfront, Ocean/River views!

This upper floor, oceanfront villa directly on the beach features stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and Edisto River. Enjoy an intimate dinner on your back deck as a spectacular sunset paints the sky a breathtaking array of colors. Unwind inside on the luxurious leather couch while listening to the gentle sound of the lulling surf.

Surrounded by the island beauty of salt marshes, tidal creeks, maritime forests and miles of unspoiled beaches, you will experience nature at her finest! From your villa, see diving pelicans and other shorebirds, dolphins frolicking in the waves and deer grazing in the dunes. This peaceful and private “adults only” retreat is the perfect setting for romance, relaxation and rejuvenation.

Extensively upgraded, this immaculate villa features ceramic tile flooring throughout, a modern granite kitchen and Corian raised-height seamless counters in each of the two full bathrooms. Soaring ceilings and large sliding doors create a spacious living area with water views from every vantage point. Amenities include: High Speed wireless Internet, 47” Smart HDTV with motion remote or wireless keyboard (to give you easy access to your email, the web and 1332’s FREE Netflix account), NEW king-size mattress & box springs, and 24/7 onsite property management services. Take the beach chairs provided and walk down the back steps following the boardwalk to the pristine beach directly in front of your villa or lounge in the shade of the deck umbrella with your favorite read.

There is so much to do on Seabrook Island! An amenity card is included with your rental which gives you free access, including towel service, to the large, sparkling pools at the oceanfront Beach Club, a short walk from the villa. You also have free access to the outdoor pool at the Island Lake House. With the amenity card, you have access to all the club restaurants, two championship golf courses, the island’s world-class Racquet Center with fifteen Har-Tru composition tennis courts, and an equestrian center. The Lake House has a fully-equipped fitness center overlooking the lake and an Olympic-sized indoor heated swimming pool. Activity fees will be charged for golf, tennis, indoor Lake House activities and equestrian rides. While you’re here, walk the island beach end to end, and discover the varied terrain of lagoons, maritime forest, and dunes of North Beach and Pelican Beach.

The scenic, low-country is the perfect place for biking. If you can’t bring your bikes, we have arranged a special discounted rate for our villa with Seaside Cycles. Paved bike trails connect Seabrook Island with Bohicket Marina (cute shops, restaurants, and outstanding views of river and marsh), Freshfield’s Shopping Village (gourmet foods, grocery store, Starbucks, eclectic shops, post office, pharmacy, urgent care center), and Kiawah Island. Both Seabrook and Kiawah have hard-packed sand enabling you to ride on the beach at low tide. Although Seabrook Island is private, the public is welcome to visit the shops and restaurants on Kiawah Island.

You could also visit nearby historic and colorful Charleston, SC, named “Top City in the U.S” by Conde Nast Traveler readers. Wander narrow alleys and cobblestone streets admiring gorgeous homes and gardens, dine at some of the finest restaurants in America and shop for unique gifts and clothing. Take a carriage ride, harbor cruise or visit one of the many plantations on the river. Stroll along the waterfront Battery, visit Patriot’s Point Maritime Museum, the SC aquarium or Ft. Sumter.

Create lasting memories as you relish the blessings of peaceful island living!

About Jenni Wyatt

Owners, Jerry & Jenni reside on Lake Norman in NC. As hard-working small business owners, we value “down time” together with each other, family and friends. Seabrook Island is a place conducive to creative thinking and complete relaxation. After a visit to Seabrook, we come back home energized and refreshed…ready to embrace life’s demands! We hope individuals and couples visiting our villa will enjoy this same rejuvenating experience. We are also committed to investing in our marriage of thirty-five years. We have seen the positive results in our relationship of scheduling romantic getaways and retreats. We are blessed to be able to strengthen marriages and families by facilitating quality time together.

Jenni Wyatt purchased this villa in 2013

Why Jenni Wyatt chose Seabrook Island

The View!!! We discovered Seabrook Island in the early 80’s when docked at Bohicket Marina for a week’s stay. Later, a family home on Kiawah Island gave us numerous opportunities to explore the entire Charleston area. After the home sold, we stayed in condos in different areas on Kiawah and Seabrook. As Kiawah became more developed, we appreciated the unspoiled beauty and serenity of Seabrook. Although we have stayed in villas at Spinnaker, Creekwatch, Courtside, High Hammock and Atrium, we always returned to Pelican Watch. These villas truly have the best views on the island! Having decided we wanted to own at Pelican Watch, we toured every unit on the market. When we stepped inside 1332, we were impressed by the immaculate condition and meticulous care maintained by the previous owners. However, it was this villa’s riveting panoramic view that made the decision for us!

What makes this villa unique

We appreciate privacy and quiet. Our villa building is set back from the parking lot in a lush setting of trees and foliage. There is a beautiful magnolia tree right outside our bedroom window. Although Building 3 is closest to the beach providing unobstructed, long-range views of both the Atlantic Ocean and Edisto River, it is located away from the traffic of the public walkway (open to all Seabrook Island guests). Unlike most PW buildings, we are closer to the Beach Club and have no sidewalk steps to navigate. From our back porch, you can access 3 ½ miles of pristine beach, watch spectacular sunsets over an expansive island-studded waterway, delight in dolphins dancing in the surf, view wild deer browsing in the dunes and see all manner of shorebirds including great blue herons, green herons, egrets, pelicans, sandpipers, oyster catchers, and kingfishers. If you love natural beauty, then savor the best of Seabrook in our beachside villa!

Guestbook comments from the owner

1st time here--WOW!!! Our two favorite things on earth are deer and dolphins. Never ever did I dream I would find them in the same place. Spent the whole week picking up sea shells, swimming in the ocean and going for long walks. What a fantastic place. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. We love it here!!!

Beach lover, whatever the weather!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I had 3 wonderful, relaxing days at Pelican Watch! It was our second visit, and when going in January you aren't guaranteed good weather, but for us it was a wonderful time! The condo is very up to date with a "smart TV", beautiful decorating, comfortable beds, linens and furniture and a wonderful view. We rode our bikes and I used my new camera to take incredible photos of Egrets, Pelicans, deer and dolphins! I enjoyed the water aerobics and yoga classes at the fitness center, while my husband loves the exercise facility. (The people there are so friendly!) We enjoy eating and shopping at Fresh Fields, and walks on the beach seeing the sunrise and set are wonderful!

Another amazing stay

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed here for a second time and we were very pleased again, of course!! The condo is very comfortable and at the center of Seabrook. We had awesome weather. We rode bikes to Kiawah, it's a bit further than you think it is but it's great exercise. You are able to watch the sunset right from your balcony, and these are some of the best sunsets that I have ever seen. I know that we see deer everywhere back home but the deer here on the island are different. I assume it's because they are so use to seeing people yet they know they are safe so they don't run away when a car approaches. I think it's pretty cool to just see them standing and watching you or eating while you drive by. There wasn't a day that went by that we didn't see deer. We walked on the beach and we were able to see dolphins from the balcony playing in the water.

We went downtown a few times just to walk around and shop. It wasn't too crowded at all. This was another great end to a crazy busy year and a wonderful way to start the new year! Thanks so much for sharing your home with us!!

Owner's Response: We are thankful for thoughtful guests like you who enjoy 1332 Pelican Watch and share your discoveries with others. We like starting our year out with a visit to Seabrook Island too! Winter sunsets are amazing and it is a great place for us to think, get creative and plan our year. As we returned from a walk on the beach today, two deer were standing by the boardwalk. I frequently see them in the early morning and at sunset browsing in the dunes. We also watched dolphin from our deck blowing spray as they surfaced in the surf. Like us, I hope you will return to 1332 PW and make lots more fun memories together!

Comfortable and Relaxing

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful condo in Pelican Watch. Jenni is a gracious and attentive host and makes a stay at the villa very comfortable and very convenient. The villa is well-appointed and has everything you need from beach chairs to binoculars. We enjoyed using the amenity cards to dine at the Island House. The view from the deck is sublime with a great sunset each night while we were there. Walking the beach and watching the dolphins play is absolutely incredible. We are looking forward to going back. We will be repeat visitors to this relaxing property and beautiful island

A Week of Relaxation

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I spent a wonderful week at Pelican Watch Villa #1332. It was a restful, peaceful getaway surrounded by beautiful scenery. Our accommodations were very comfortable, well appointed and immaculate. The kitchen had all the necessities to prepare a meal or, my personal favorite, to reheat restaurant leftovers. Since we enjoy the water, it was very convenient to have the beach right outside our doorway. We found it to be a wonderful beach to walk, fish and watch nature at its best. Nearby we explored the various shops and restaurants. With Charleston only a short distance away, we made touring it a must during our week stay. It truly is a wonderful city! Finally, I must mention the cooperative spirit of the owners. They were very helpful, and most importantly, available to answer questions we had about their condo and the surrounding area.
