Formerly owned by Dale Wasserman who wrote One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, this estate is crazy good! If you’re looking for a large property, luscious greenery, and luxurious details, this home is for you.
Lavish layout includes living room, dining room, and step-down media room. There’s not only a large modern kitchen, but also a butler’s pantry, replete with wine refrigerators, for easy food preparation.
Each of the 6 bedrooms are exquisitely appointed with high-thread count sheets, fluffy towels, comfy comforters, and ceiling fans. The stunning master bath shines with polished marble, his and her walk-in closets, dual sinks, and a Jacuzzi tub.
The jaw-dropping waterfall, pristine pool, and private sunning area make the outdoors just as magnificient as in the indoors. A covered patio (lanai) runs the entire length of the house providing shade and a breeze from 2 exterior-mounted fans. With chaise lounges, conversation corners, and dining tables, you can easily serve up to 20 guests. And, the separate guest house makes it easy to vacation together, yet provide “apart” time too.
Nearby Ruth Hardy park affords public tennis courts, basketball courts, children’s play area, and walking path.
The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was very happy with the location.
I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
Spent 4 days with family celebrating my sisters birthday. Great location and accommodations. Each family with their own bathroom is a real plus. We had the pool heated and the kids had a ball. Looking forward to the next time we can use this house.
My extended family stayed here over Christmas, and had a wonderful time. The pool is excellent, well heated, and lots of fun (loved the waterfall and the bench all around the edge). The house was very well equipped to handle a large group of people. All the bedrooms and beds were comfortable, and the whole estate felt very private. Thanks so much for making our stay so great!
This house has something for everyone. It was great! We were a large group of 13 and at no time did this house feel crowded. The kids played in the pool while others played ping pong and the adults just hung out on the porch and in the kitchen having drinks and talking. The place is big, nicely decorated and open and airy. The kitchen was very well organized and had everything we needed and there were plenty of bathrooms to accommodate our large group. The owners of the house were great too. James is a sweetheart making reservations and Kenny greeted us at the house and went over everything about the how to operate A/C, TV, and pool spa. We didn’t bring our “play and stay” for the baby and Kenny had one to us at the house within 15 minutes of our call to him.
Great house! The owner is great! We will be back and recommend this place to others.
The house was great and it was our 2nd year in a row coming for Thanksgiving week. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out or be together. Some like to swim, or puzzle, or play ping pong and we use Ruth Hardy Park around the corner quite a bit. The house has everything you need for a great family trip or a large group of friends. Walking distance to the strip and our favorite restaurants too!
I stayed here with 15 girls for a Bachelorette getaway and we absolutely loved this property! First of all, you're greeted warmly by the property manager, who is so helpful and kind! Second, the property itself is gigantic! There was PLENTY of space for us all to relax, swim, eat, sleep, etc. Lastly, the house was in perfect condition and so clean with any amenity you could think of! We would definitely stay here again and even bring our kids and husbands! ( ; Oh and I almost forgot, the location doesn't not get better! You're minutes from the main strip and across the street from a beautiful park!
Beautiful house in a fantastic location. Well appointed. Represented well by photos. However our vacation was significantly impacted by several major issues and the response by the property managers. The pool heater stopped working and had to be replaced- a full day job of pool maintenance workers in the yard and two days without pool heat. The hot water tanks went out the following day and we had issues with the thermostat- the furnace kept coming on making the house extremely hot. While the property managers did tend to the maintenance their approach was unprofessional. They repeatedly blamed us for causing problems with the HVAC and hot water heaters. They also sauntered into the house unannounced on several occasions which we found a little unsettling. We were refused repeated requests to speak directly with the property owner to voice our concerns. While we understand that houses have maintenance issues it was the manner in which they were handled that merits concern. The only compensation for the significant disruption in our holiday was a credit for the pool heating- for the days that the heater was broken.
It is unfortunate that such a nice property has management issues- otherwise we would return!
