Our family relocated in 2012 from the south of England to the Chicago area. My husband and I are both Americans but we lived in the UK for nearly 8 years and both our boys were born there. We have traveled quite a bit through Europe and enjoy getting to know people from all cultures and backgrounds. We look forward to the opportunity to meet new people as we welcome them to Hillberry House!
Evanston is a vibrant community and living here is like living in a city within a city. It has a semi-urban feel without feeling too developed and really bridges the divide between Chicago and the rest of the North Shore communities. Being a university town creates many opportunities for cultural events including art exhibits, lectures and theater. After settling on Evanston as the area in which we would like to buy we searched for a short term furnished rental in the area with no luck. Even pricier corporate rentals were in short supply and these were not very family-friendly. So an idea was born and we set out to find a property which would allow us to provide a family-friendly, fully equipped short term rental experience for other families like ours.
