We spent a great week in Glenmore house, it is such a wonderful house : it is very well located (in the middle of Dingle peninsula, very near Ring of Kerry) and quiet ( the only seen neighbors were sheeps and cows). The view on the mountains is gorgeous.
The owner takes really care of the guests and Ian, who welcomes you, is very friendly.
The house is a real former cottage in which has been a lot of work to become a very modern and comfortable house. The kitchen is large and so well fitted you can enjoy cooking, the sitting room comfortable, the rooms upstairs well separated from the other part of the building. The master room has such a great and very large bed.
I recommend this house to people looking for quietness, comfort, travelling around and people used to a high standard of quality.

Loved our stay in the Glenmore House!

  • 5 of 5
We had a great time staying here. It was wonderful visiting all of the beautiful locations at having this comfortable home to come back to at the end of the day. The grounds were great for exploring or looking at from the conservatory. We had tons of room and the kitchen had everything we needed! Our day trips consisted of visiting Dingle (the aquarium, Tralee (Blennerville Windmill), Banna Strand Beach, Killarney (National Park/Traditional Farms) and the city. Loved it and would go again!!!

Wonderful!

  • 5 of 5
My family of 5 stayed at Glenmore for a week of exploring the Irish countryside. My daughter cried when we left and asked why we couldn't move there.

The house was spectacular and in pristeen condition. Totally renovated and modernized but with an old world Irish feel. I will always have fond memories of sitting in that beautiful conservatory, having a glass of wine at the end of the day, listening to the gentle "bah-ing" of the sheep across the green pasture and making plans for dinner and music at a local pub.

The location, although seemingly remote, offered the perfect base point to explore all that the Dingle pennisula has to offer, as well as the Ring of Kerry and southwest Ireland in general. It was convenient, peaceful, simple and relaxing.

I recommend Glenmore House to all, without reservation and with much enthusiasm. Many thanks for the perfect holiday Gavin (and Ian!).

This Farmhouse has beautiful views! It's a great location- close to Inch Strand and Dingle is not far. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is large and great for cooking. We enjoyed our stay at this lovely rustic local.

Glenmore sits amidst the dramatic Slieve Mish Mountains on the Dingle Peninsula. The property offers total seclusion, strikingly diverse grounds, fascinating historical features and most notably commanding views. Glenmore is the perfect base for exploring County Kerry; major attractions such as Inch Strand and Brandon Bay are all within close proximity. The delightful and cosmopolitan town of Dingle with its varied restaurants, bars and boutiques is 25 min away and the famous Ring of Kerry can be reached within 20 min. Kerry has a lot to offer the active and sports orientated traveller, activities include hiking, surfing, windsurfing and horse riding. Less energetic types however will find a gentle stroll on a deserted Atlantic beach surrounded by imposing mountains followed by a pint of extra smooth Guinness equally rewarding.

Golf: The nearest golf facilities are at Castlegregory Golf And Fishing Club, in the beautiful surrounds Brandon Bay. This 9-hole course is situated on the Connor Pass road.
