|Minimum Stay||2 - 4 nights|
Come experience a more relaxed coastal vacation a little away from the beaten path at lovely, quiet Cape Meares. This house, with a spacious interior, amazing views of the ocean, and easy access to the near-deserted beach, is the perfect place to stay!
Located about 10-15 minutes northwest of Tillamook, Cape Meares has no restaurants or shops of its own, so stock up on groceries in town before you drive out to this peaceful community. While in Tillamook, be sure to stop at its famous cheese factory and get some fresh ice cream! With easy beach access about two blocks away, you can look to the south to see the beautiful Cape Meares Lighthouse, or take a long walk north on the beach along Bayocean Peninsula County Park, where you can enjoy the pristine, refreshingly chilly coastline without having to share it with others.
This two-bedroom, two-bathroom home has ample space for four guests to spread out and enjoy the views of the ocean, which you can see from nearly every room. The living room is a fantastic place to sit, start a cozy fire in the pellet stove, and watch some cable TV or choose a DVD for a movie night.
A full, open kitchen has all the appliances and tools you may need to cook up a hot, filling breakfast to enjoy together before heading out for an early-morning walk on the beach. When it's time to head to bed, you have your choice between a serene blue-hued bedroom with an ocean-facing window and queen-size bed, and the master bedroom, which has a king-size bed and access to the deck.
Outside, a two-level deck is the best place to enjoy the spectacular view. Sit out here with a mug of coffee and listen to the gulls in the morning, or relax with a glass of wine in the evening while watching the sun set slowly past the ocean.
This home is spacious enough for two couples or a small family to enjoy a wonderful vacation together. The main coastal highway does not pass by Cape Meares, and Tillamook is 10 minutes away, so your visit will be extra quiet, serene, and restive.
Book now, and enjoy a fabulously peaceful vacation in this spacious home that has amazing views of the ocean!

We loved our time at this property and would love to come again. We have never seen such a well stocked home! We didn't need anything but our food and clothes. Even though we visited in the winter, the view made up for any lost time outside. You will feel right at home after just one day!
Our family loved this home, lovely, comfortable, incredible view. Cape Meares is our new favorite place on the Oregon Coast.
Stayed here for a long weekend with another couple and had an absolute blast. The house is so comfortable (very well stocked kitchen - even a food processor!) and the deck has an amazing view. Loved hearing the crash of the waves through the master bedroom windows when I woke up in the morning! The beach is very close and easily accessible - we spent all day there playing in the sand and sun and most of the night around a massive bonfire. Cape Meares is very quiet and there is no store, so make sure to stock up on all the essentials before heading out. For awesome seafood, go around the bay to the Garibaldi Cannery - we stocked up on tons of fresh stuff for the weekend and it made our experience just that much better. Will definitely return to this spot!
Laundry, cable, comfy bed, good kitchen supplies, great view. Everywhere we were looking for.
Everything went really smoothly in the rental process and the views were even better than we had expected. In terms of the view, this is probably one of the top few houses in Cape Meares because it is perched high above the rest of the town. One evening we saw whales from the deck! Still, it's pretty easy to get down to the beach. The kitchen was really well equipped. Although the furniture was not especially updated, the living room was quite comfortable.
We loved our stay. The beach and surrounding hikes were amazing. There is a great collection of books here (not much else to do, which was great). The beds were luxuriously comfortable, and the large deck with a gorgeous view was fantastic. There is no house phone and we were not able to get a cell signal anywhere in town. Also stock up in Tillamook as there no market anywhere in town as near as we could tell.
