I am a 33 year old Podiatrist with a big family and a love for the outdoors. I currently live in Seattle and work as a sports medicine podiatrist. I graduated from College at BYU, and went to Med School in New York, and completed my training for residency in southern California. I come from a big family of 7 kids, 5 boys, 2 girls and we all get along famously. I have been taking a trip to Moab every year for the Last 10 years with my family and best friends and finally decided Moab wasn't just a phase it was something I wanted to be around long term, so I took the plunge
When searching various properties in the Moab area with a few of my best friends, when we got to this house, we all said 'I'll do just about anything to get this house' or some version of that. It is a really cool house, with a really open relaxing vibe. I use it for a group of 12 or so of my best friends to hang out at a few times a year, and we can't get enough of it. I loved everything about this property from the moment I saw it. It is located in a residential neighborhood, and there are a lot of families around. For me this was exactly what I was looking for as well. There isn't loud music or crazy parties happening nearby. It's just a chill place to go after you have exhausted yourself in Moab.
My favorite thing about this house is probably the big rock outside in the back yard. Going back there and star gazing on a clear night is amazing. Sitting on the rock and looking around at everything in the middle of the day is just as fun. I have to say, even though I am not much of a chef, I love the kitchen. It is open, spacious, and really modern. Everything is as it should be. The kitchen/living room area is huge, and everyone can hang out in there at the same time without feeling cramped one bit. I also love the gas fireplace. All you have to do is flick a switch and it turns on. It is the coolest feeling in the world. I need to get one for my house in Seattle.
