Wonderful place from which to get to know Downeast Maine

  • 5 of 5
We just reluctantly returned from a wonderful week. Pre-arrival and throughout our stay, the owners were very helpful in directing us to fun activities and other practical tips about the area. The location is great - very convenient to Mount Desert Island and coastal roads for exploring up the Bold Coast. The kids loved the beach and swam whenever we were there long enough to do so. The cottage had everything we needed, and is somewhere we would definitely return to.

Awesome!

A wonderful experience. The owners were warm, welcoming, and great hosts. We liked it so much our three nights turned into five! The cottage was well appointed and comfortable with pretty much anything you may require. The area is secluded and quiet and very peaceful though still within easy driving of Acadia and markets. Bottom line: we loved it and would go back in a heartbeat. Thanks to the owners who make the great experience possible!

Exceeded expectations

  • 5 of 5
The owners were kind and welcoming. The property is larger and prettier than the photos display. The place is nestled in the woods near the water. We had full access to the shore and the views were unbelievable. Internet access and satellite TV worked GREAT! There was so much to do being so close to Bangor, Bar Harbor, whale watching, Acadia, mini golf, lobstah pounds, home made ice cream, shopping, and great restaurants. I look forward to staying again.

Great Place

We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend trip here. The place is beautiful, conveniently located, and has a well outfitted kitchen. The owners are very accommodating and gave us bicycles to take to Acadia and offered use of their kayak as well.
