Come Stay, Relax in this MAGNIFICENT and spacious Post & Beam Country Estate, 6 bedrooms and 4 baths, 6,000 square feet, nestled on 11 beautiful acres surrounded by conservation land.
Between Boston (1 hour) and New York City ( NYC) mid Manhattan (2.5 hours) with an easy 10 minutes access to Mass Pike route 90 to Boston and route 84 to Connecticut and New York City.
You will no doubt enjoy this beautiful jewel of a retreat!
You can rent one or more bedrooms in this 6 bedroom private home that sleeps up to 15 people! All bedrooms are beautifully furnished and most have a private bath.
Each bedroom is $150 - $215 per night for 2 people. Additional person in room is $60 per night. There will be an additional $30 fee for rental of the Master Bedroom (the red room). Weekly rental rates do not include the cleaning fee. Also, please note that there is a security deposit of $300 PER ROOM. PLEASE NOTE: Please inquire about rental rates as VRBO may not be able to accurately calculate the rental price based on the number of rooms rented.

This charming cozy home was designed by Royal Barry Wills, a well-known American architect and a master of traditional Cape Cod style homes, particularly between the 1930‘s – 1950’s.
He lived in the same era as Frank Lloyd Wright, another famous American architect a master of modern design who designed over 1000 buildings, including the famous Guggenheim Museum in New York City.
All guests will have access to the fully equipped beautiful gourmet kitchen with the large island. All glassware, dinnerware, paper ware, utensils, cooking equipment, many spices,ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, condiments, extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar, various teas, fresh bean coffee are provided for your use.
Enjoy quiet dinners in the dining room with seating for 8, warm yourself or tell stories by the cozy stone wood or gas fireplace with wide plank pine floored living room.
Enjoy all the comforts of home with modern amenities that include 5 TV with cable , DVD, NETFLIX, WI-FI, heat , fans, CENTRAL AIR and full use of washer and dryer. There is an old fashioned Pub/bar living room, 2 family rooms, 3 patios for your use.

There are so many attractions to this area such as Amherst MA( town of 5 colleges with well known top liberal arts Amherst college ), Providence RI( Capitol of RI and home of ivy league Brown University and prestigious Rhode Island School of Design), Hartford CT( Capital of CT and home of Mark Twain and Katherine Hepburn). Others are Mystic Ct(quaint old port town on Atlantic with wonderful aquarium ), and New Haven Ct ( home of ivy league Yale University).
The estate is 1.5 hours to the Berkshires, MA area (summer musical/dance playground for NYC/Boston wealthy patrons in towns of Stockbridge (Norman Rockwell Museum), Lenox with Tanglewood music hall ,Jacob's pillow dance center and Edith Wharton's home, Great Barrington for Monument mountain hiking) .
The estate is also close to Newport RI( mansions and chateaus of the gilded age of Carnegie, Vanderbuilt and high society as well as sailing competitions), Watch Hill RI (most elegant town on the Atlantic ocean) , and 2 hours to Cape Cod (national seashore with bike trails, pristine beaches in quaint towns of Falmouth, Hyannis and Provincetown).
From Hyannis you can take the ferry with your car to well known charming Martha's vineyard and Nantucket islands to spend the day.
The often visited Wachusett Mountain Ski area with Mount Monadnock and Quabbin Reservoir (where you can experience an abundance of outdoor activities) a is also 1 hour away.

This is a magnificent large Hansel and Gretel like cozy home with beautiful grounds of fields, pond, swimming pool and horse paddock area and yet just 45-80 minutes from the major cities of New England States ( Boston, Hartford, Providence, Worcester, Springfield ).
