|Minimum Stay||7 nights|
Main house has large kitchen/dining area open onto terrace with views of the Mediterranean from Cap Ferrat to Cap d'Antibes. Small salon with half bath, upstairs bedroom with twins or queen bed and bathroom. Guest cottage has double bedroom and bath. Garden has flowers, lavender beds, olive, apricot, cherry and persimmon trees. The house is sheltered under the soaring cliff of the Baou de St Jeannet.
Sleeps 4 with a possible extra on the sofa bed in the salon. Ideal for 1 or 2 couples, not very suitable for very small children. Rare to find a small, charming house that is not part of another property
Private car park is 150 metres below the house, with a steep path up to the house; not wheelchair accessible.
It's very easy to spend a whole week at the house and in the village, not venturing forth, just enjoying the village and the view. However, Cote d'Azur is a short drive away - or buses to Vence and Nice.
We had a wonderful stay in this very charming house in St Jeannet. The
view to the Mediterranean is incredible and we really enjoyed eating our
meals on the terrace under the apricot tree. The kitchen is very well
equipped as Tricia also runs cooking classes from the home as well as
market tours to Nice, Vence or Antibes. We didn¹t mind the steep walk up
to the house from the dedicated car parking space, although it could be a
problem with small children or elderly. Tricia was wonderful to deal with
and we heartily recommend this gorgeous property.
Stay in an authentic medieval village yet only 30 mins from the Riviera! A charming small house and garden sheltered under the Baou of St Jeannet with gorgeous views of the Mediterranean. Everything you need is available in the village or take a 10 min drive to Vence with its Matisse Chapel and historic city centre. Further afield go to Antibes with its lively Provencal market, Picasso Museum and the lovely beaches of Cannes.
Nice airport is only 30 mins away and the city of Nice a ride or walk along the Promenade des Anglais to the centre - music, art, restaurants, cafes, markets, chic areas, Old Nice and its maze of streets and the famous Cours Saleya...a first class city. For the country lover there are many walks in the hills around St Jeannet right on your doorstep.
Wine, cheese and olive oil tastings are available in the village as well as several bars, bistros, bakers, butcher, grocers and artisan pottery.
