Playa Turquesa of Bavaro-Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, is one of the premier gated communities in the area, enjoying direct access to its own white-sand beach and all the modern conveniences of comfortable life in the tropics. It is perfectly situated to give you the finest ocean breezes and un-paralleled vistas with the turquoise waters of Bavaro Beach literally at your front door while being only twenty minutes or less from the International Airport of Punta Cana (PUJ), the biggest air hub in the country.

Apartment D-201 is located on the second level of the building D. It can boast one of the best sea views out of all the 2-bedroom condos in the community as it is located in the fourth building counting from the sea (the first three buildings are 3-bedroom apartments only). On a plan supplied you may see that it is just a few steps away from the beach. It is also very close to the pool but not close enough to be noisy. Offering breath-taking ocean view from a spacious balcony while you are having your meals, sipping a drink or simply enjoying yourself this condo provides a certain amount of privacy too.
The condo has floors of Italian tiles throughout with 2 large bedrooms (1 King-size bed, 2 Twins) with 2 full bathrooms (one en-suite). As all buildings it has central AC, osmosis treated water and is elevator and stairs accessible. This property has a washer/drier, refrigerator, gas stove with electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker, electric kettle, iron with the board, TV with a DVD-player, personal safe and more. Linens, towels (including ones for the beach), cookware and tableware are obviously supplied.
Playa Turquesa Ocean Club is situated in Bavaro, in the East of Dominican Republic, in an area often known my the name of Bavaro–Punta Cana. What started as an all-inclusive resort development in the middle of nowhere is now a vibrant international tourist center with modern infrastructure and good roads.
With the influx of many foreigners from various countries around the world, Bavaro has by default “diversified” itself and offers dining and restaurant options for nearly every palette. Here you will find everything from Thai Fusion to Arabic and Russian, from Chinese and Japanese to Italian, from Dominican Creole and Brazilian to American and there is also something for nearly any budget. Just in the Bavaro beach area, one can easily walk to more than a dozen different types of restaurants.
Entertainment is something that will never hide from you here. There are frequent concerts of international stars and music festivals held during the high season. You can enjoy golf in many world class courses nearby. The wide range of water sports options will never stop surprising you. On the beach you’ll find everything from snorkeling and scuba diving, to horseback riding and kite surfing. There are many excursions and adventures one can take advantage of during their stay here in Bavaro, many of which are simply a phone call away. For those wanting to immerge into the bustling Bavaro night life there are disco and dance clubs, numerous bars and casinos. There are two casinos nearby that are open to the public as well as the new Hard Rock Casino that also features one of the best discos in the area.
Bavaro offers many shopping centers, the closest of which is Palma Real Shopping village, located less than five minutes by car, also reachable by public transport or even on foot. It boasts many brand name and local boutique stores, dining options, including Hard Rock Café, a movie theatre and a big well stocked supermarket. Just a little bit further one may find San Juan Plaza that features a still bigger supermarket, different shops, restaurants, Caribbean Cinemas and even an IKEA store. There is yet another big shopping center located in Punta Cana Village featuring a gourmet supermarket and many dining options but it takes about twenty minutes to get there. Nevertheless very probably you will not need to go to the shopping centers unless you want to as there are enough smaller convenience shops and restaurants located within the walking distance from Playa Turquesa. The complex itself has a lovely commercial plaza with several restaurants, bars, shops and a supermarket that is accessible from the inside.
There is an excellent private hospital very close by. Should a problem arise world class medical service can be arranged very easily. But please arrive with your internationally valid insurance policy as it can be very expensive in Dominican Republic otherwise.
Cancellation and Deposit Policies:
Minimum USD 500 Security deposit to hold your dates. 50% is due three months before, 100% is due one month before. Failing to make payments before or on a due date will be viewed as a cancellation of rental.
All and any cancellations are 90% reimbursed for the dates that are rented again.
Cancellations 6 months before – 100% reimbursement. Cancellations 3 to 6 months before – 50% of deposit is reimbursed. Cancellations 45 days to 3 months – 66% of paid amount is reimbursed (but no less than 50% of initial deposit is kept). Cancellations 45 days or less are subject to reimbursement based policy described above.
Any transaction (banking, credit cards, postal, etc.) expenses both yours or ours for all and any payments are not included in reimbursement and are paid by the clients.

I have two condos in this property - one to live in, another - with breath-taking ocean views - D201 - to rent out. Playa Turquesa to my mind is the very best place to live in Bavaro and I am very happy to be there!
For the past five years we have enjoyed renting this condo. It has a wonderful view and is fully equipped for every need. New screens were just installed which helped the breeze flow through the condo. Internet, a new BBQ, new flat screen television and plenty of sheets and towels have made our stay convenient. We went to the local gym quite often which was only a few minutes away. The gym is reasonably priced and well equipped. When you stay for a long period, as we do, it really is essential. Boris, the owner, has been more than helpful. He is always friendly and takes pride in his beautiful condo. The grounds are very well kept and all the workers are extremely friendly and polite. We highly recommend this unit.
we just came back from a month at playa turquesa we've been there for four year and boris condo was the best we have, very spacious and well equipped, great view from the big balcony, a barbecue very useful nice furnishings big kitchen with every thing you need to cook at the condo everything is near beach,grocery restaurants, no need a car very safe place you have your own beach chair with covers i will be back next year already reserved thanks boris.
We just came back from a fantastic week at Playa Turquesa. We loved the place, the neighborhood, the beach, and pretty much everything. Boris' apartment was just perfect for us, with everything we needed and more, including a great terrace were the whole family loved to sit down and relax. (And no mosquitos either!). And our two kids loved to have a room just for them. The apartment is right next to one of the pools, a two-minute walk to the beach, a two-minute walk to the BAM supermarket (we did not need to go to any other supermarket -- this one is pretty big and has everything) and close to everything. We walked every night to a different restaurant and we loved all the choices that this great neighborhood has to offer. Last but not least, arranging our stay at Playa Turquesa with Boris was a breeze. Thank you Boris for a wonderful week!
We have rented this condo now for 4 years and love it as our second home. The owner is extremely accommodating. The condo is clean and spacious. The view is spectacular and has a spacious veranda which is covered. Ammenities: New washer and dryer, dishwasher, flat screen tv, bbq, luxurious furnishings, sufficient cutlery and plates and 2 beautiful pools. The restaurants nearby have excellent cuisine and the beach is clean with comfortable lounges with new covers. The gym is around the corner and has been expanded in fashion.
We highly recommend this condo.
Very nice condo. Over looks pool and beach. Very clean and it has everything you could want. You can walk to cafe and bakery. Car rental place is across the street. Close to grocery stores. Casinos are close by too. Property manager is very helpful. The place is well secured. You can buy drinks and also lunch and dinner right in the pool. What else could you ask for.
Located on an excellent private beach, well maintained grounds and pool, great staff. Most importantly, very convenient to a wide variety of excellent restaurants, fresh fruit, short walk to a get espresso in a french patiserie, etc.

Seasonal holidays (24 DEC - 11 JAN): $200-450/day. $50 cleaning fee for all dates. Early Booking Discounts available. Minimum $500 Security Deposit to hold dates.
