The kitchen has modern stainless steel appliances, including double-door fridge, oven, double sink and dishwasher. It is fully equipped with pots, pans, utensils, and table ware, along with unique extras that will make your stay special - handmade stoneware and glasses, and pieces from local galleries.
The kitchen opens to the main living area. Enjoy your meals at the kitchen bar or at the dining table that seats six.
The main living area/dining area has large windows, allowing for excellent natural light. Special touches include heirloom furniture, original art and accents from around the world.

Welcome to Asheville! That's your hostess in the purple wig. I moved to the western North Carolina mountains over thirty years ago, and plan on always having a place to hang my hat (or wig) in this incredible city. The reason for the move way back when, were the endless outdoor adventures. There is hiking, whitewater, rock climbing, and the biking, for skinny or fat tires, is excellent. At this point, living and working in Asheville, I love the downtown area for its food, brews, and art, both visual and performance. When you come, give yourself extra time.

See the above and you will understand why I have a condo here. I chose the S&W building because it is one of the most beautiful and celebrated art deco buildings in the country.
We're a husband/wife duo who stayed at this sweet loft in mid-March, 2015. We found the place elegantly decorated and, better yet, thoughtfully outfitted for visitors. It's in a can't-beat-it location in the town's historic center, near the best biscuits-and-gravy diners as well as the fine dining restaurants. Giving it only four stars might be a bit stingy but the rental doesn't provide a parking spot--the only thing really missing from our pleasant stay.
My husband and I stayed in this unit for a long weekend in January, 2015. We loved it. The location is ideal for shopping and dining. The interior space is beautiful with tasteful décor and delightful amenities. The booking process was a breeze. The owner was accessible and provided detailed information about the condo as well as recommendations for restaurants. Our rental experience was flawless. We highly recommend this unit.
We stayed at this beautiful loft for 5 days, 4 nights and truly enjoyed it! The location is excellent! An easy walk to all of the restaurants, bars, and shops. Although parking is not included, there are multiple parking lots and decks nearby, and we didn't find this to be a problem at all. The exterior of the S&W is beautiful! The only issue we had was with noise- you can hear people in the other condos but nothing more than any other condo- but construction had just started on what looks to be a retail space on the first floor. They started very early on Thursday. I messaged the owner and she was able to have this taken care of (no noise before 9 am) so anyone else stay in there should be good! The owner is wonderful- great to work with and she has fabulous style. The loft is beautifully decorated and has everything you could want! This was a great place to stay for our anniversary and we hope to be back!!
We certainly felt right at home in this beautiful loft downtown Asheville. The decor was beautiful and extremely comfortable. Beautifully situated to walk everywhere.
We booked this condo for our wedding weekend in order to be close to all our planned activities in downtown Asheville. It worked out perfectly. The location was close to everything we planned in downtown and allowed friends and family to easily stop by to say hi. My bridesmaids were even able to get ready at the condo the morning of the wedding and easily make it to our downtown location. The owner went above and beyond to help us book the condo, recommend locations for our wedding photos, and was even available late at night to assist with our needs. The condo is absolutely beautifully decorated and because of this, we did our first-look photos right in the living room. I would recommend this property for anyone wanting to visit Asheville and looking for a great location with a beautifully appointed condo. No reason to ever stay in a hotel when traveling to Asheville, our family member have already asked us to send the listing along so they can use the condo when they travel to Asheville. No question, we would stay here again!
The condo was awesome! It was right in the heart of downtown, but on the quieter side of the building, so just perfect. There were great views of the mountains and everything was maintained so nicely. We highly recommend this condo!
Within walking distance of the S&W Building there are too many fabulous restaurants to list. A great reference online would be the Asheville Independent Restaurant Association. And there are our brew pubs; at least a half a dozen are within a short walk, some of which have great food in addition to the beer. Another reliable treat is Asheville's Fine Arts Theater. Something great is always showing. If you enjoy art, consider a visit to Blue Spiral or the Haen Gallery, both a short walk. Understand that when you walk in downtown Asheville, you will be entertained continuously.
