Playa del Sol is located in the heart of the Okanagan Valley and is a beautiful resort property in the Mission district.. The complex is centrally located in Kelowna and offers a beautifully landscaped property and courtyard, complemented by BBQ pits, picnic areas and a huge pool and hot tub! The Cabana Bar & Grille, the Roasted Bean Coffee Shop, and a health spa offer all the amenities for the discerning traveler. A stone's throw away from Rotary Beach, the kids will enjoy the playground right on the beach while parents take in the gorgeous boardwalk!

A hop, skip, and a jump to the boat launch and water sport rentals, this 972 square foot 2 Bedroom plus Den condo has a mountain and creek view. A training room along with the large courtyard with access to a gorgeous pool, relaxing hot tub, BBQ and picnic areas and beautifully landscaped gardens make our condo a dream for families and couples alike. The condo was completed in 2007 and is comfortably appointed with televisions in each room, phone and internet access. The master suite contains its own private bath with a tub. The second bedroom has a queen bed and walk through closet into the second bathroom. Bunk Beds are also found in the den and are perfect for kids and adults. The kitchen is fully equipped for you to prepare your own meals or you can use the gas BBQ on your patio for sizzling summer steaks.

Great Location, Great Suite

We came out to Kelowna for some wine touring. The rental process was extremely easy as the owners were very prompt in responding to our request. We were greeted by the check in agent and were given a quick tour of the suite. The suite is well equipped, spacious and quiet. We were all extremely happy with the accommodations. We would definitely stay again in the future.

Excellent Homely Stay

My partner and I stayed here over the Winter 2014-2015 Season and had the most comfortable homely stay. We felt right at home in this beautiful condo and the accommodation facilities are second to none. The owners are very welcomely and are only a phone call or email away if you need them. Thanks again and we would stay here again. Had the best time and the location was perfect for us.

Great Unit, Location, and Holiday!

We travelled to Kelowna for our family holiday. The suite was very clean and inviting. We made use of the pack and play in suite for our 2 year old, and our 5 year old really enjoyed the lower bunk bed, which he turned into a "fort". The suite was on the quiet side of the building, so our evenings were nice and quiet. The owners were very pleasant to deal with. We would recommend this for anyone looking for alternative to hotel family accomodating. BTW, the pool was great!

Great location, unit in need of some repairs.

This unit is located on the 5th floor of the Playa del Sol. We have stayed in this building for two different summers, now, and have enjoyed its central location in Kelowna, proximity to Mission Creek, Gyro and Rotary beach parks, and the stores. The Roasted Bean coffee shop is great for both coffee and ice cream treats for the children (pre-packaged, not scoops), and Cabana has great food. We found the owners very easy to deal with, thorough, professional, and prompt when booking the unit. The service they use to let us in to the unit (Maids Gone Green) left us waiting for almost 15-20 minutes to check in, despite having called 2 times to tell them we were within 10 minutes of arriving, and being told that the person in charge of letting us in actually lived in the same building! While this may not sound like a big deal, we had 3 tired children and enough groceries and luggage to last a lifetime, rapidly melting on the sidewalk. On the 7th day of our stay, I called the maid service to ask for more cleaning supplies (dishwasher tabs and washing machine soap), as we were running low; on check-in day, they told me to do this, I never received the products or even a call back, and we left without these products, having hand-washed the last dishes. The unit, itself, is laid out in a similar fashion to most other 3 bedroom units in this complex. It was generally clean, and well-stocked with towels and sheets. There were not many dishes, and as we do most of our cooking in the condo, and entertain guests, we found the service for 6 dishes to be inadequate. There were, however, enough pots, pans, and cutlery. The unit is in need of some TLC. A number of minor repairs need to be tended to: there is a hole in the MBR washroom, where the towel rack has fallen down, the handle to the screen door on the patio has fallen off, the carpet has dirt stains on it in multiple rooms, the shower curtain smells quite musty, and the MBR mattress is very, very soft (this may just be the style of the mattress, but we found it very uncomfortable). The pool is lovely for the family, and the BBQ on the balcony was used a lot! This unit was pretty quiet, from a street-noise point of view. Occasionally, we would hear hallway traffic or the movement of the tenants above us, but nothing too bad at all. The 1st bedroom had bunk beds, which were really fun for the younger children. All in all, we were satisfied with the unit, but have stayed in better appointed units in this complex

Please note, the limited supply of dish soap and laundry detergent is only a starter package provided as a courtesy for a few days. Guests staying longer need to buy more from the supermarket. Our property is treated as a home away from home and not as a hotel. As for some of the minor repairs, we do rely on our agents and guests to inform us of any issues as we are away from Kelowna. As such, we have booked a handyman to come in and address all issues you have identified. Thanks again for staying with us and providing your valuable feedback.

The condo was very nice and clean. sheets, pillows, and towels were of good quality. Only *minor* problem was that there were only 2 coffee filters for our 3 night stay (we are coffee people)! Not to worry though, we bought a pack and left the rest for future vacationers. Enjoy!

Enjoyable Family Location

We decided to stay a few days in Kelowna on our way to Vancouver from Calgary. Very pleased with the accomodation and dealing with the owners. Suite was clean, comfortable and me all of our needs. Would not hesitate to stay here for a longer duration or recommend to family and friends.
