2 BEDROOM APARTMENT NEAR PORT ST CHARLES

This apartment is just perfect !!! it was beyond my expectations. Upon arrival, the apartment was spotless, so impeccable. It had everything you could think of, hangers, hair blow dryer, radio, laundry detergent, toilet paper, toilet cleaner's, dishes, etc, more than what you could think of. The highway is about 5 minutes walking distance where you could take public transportation to bridgetown, it will take about 25 minutes on the bus into bridgetown, when you're done with all of the action, it feels great to return a lovely quiet apartment away from the noise. There's also a cell phone that came with the apartment, i thought that was so convenient. You will need to purchase credit to be able to use the cell phone. There's a gas station on the high way where you could purchase credit, the gas station is only a 15 mintute, very short distance for you to enjoy a nice brisk walk. The gas station has all of your necessities, juice, water, bread, milk, eggs and also an ATM machine, which is great plus.

The beach is only 5 minutes away, what more could you ask for, i would recommend going to the supermarket for some groceries to cook and stay in a few days to eat. Eating out can be very expensive, it will be better to eat in. There's a very nice restaurant close by, called the beach house, the prices are very reasonable, and if you get a table by the beach front, you will be enjoying that wonderful sound as the waves come crashing in on the beach, and the beautiful sunset, it is absolutely amazing, highly recommend that you go there. Great service and staff.

All in all, this is the best guess house you will ever stay in , i was there for my grandmother's 75th birthday, my cousin 19 and myself 27. You will not regret it, it truly felt like home away from home. The owner is very nice and always available with just a quick phone call, everyone in Barbados makes you feel so welcome, they're very friendly and the apartment felt so safe, a very nice residential area. I can't stop commenting on how clean the apartment was, it was extremely spotless, you have to stay here :)

We really enjoyed our stay in Barbados. The people are so friendly and there is so much to see. The apartment was perfect for our stay. The description was accurate and the apartment was very clean. The apartment was in a great location only 5minutes from a beautiful beach spot and a very safe neighborhood. It was in a pretty central spot on the island and off a main highway. The maps and street signs are not that good in Barbados so staying in a location off a main highway was very convenient. I was a little worried about not having AC in the rooms but the windows provided a great breeze and we rarely were hot. One thing we loved was the Aloe Vera planted on the side of the house. The second day of our stay we got sun burned snorkeling (which is something I recommend you do during your stay) and were able to use that on our burns. We jokingly called it magic Aloe Vera because it worked so well, the next day we were just a little bit pink and the day after that it was gone completely. A few things to know about this apartment is that there are no drawers to put your clothes. They do have closets so you can hang up most of your stuff but beside that you just have to leave everything in your suitcase for the entire trip. Also On the listing it states that they have a DVD player and they do, but that is all they have no TV and no DVD’s. So if you think you might want to relax one night by watching TV you need to bring your own DVD’s. Over all it was a very nice place to stay and I would definitely recommend it to friends or stay there again. Thank you!!!

We have stayed in this comfotrable appartment on 4 occasions and each time it has been a really great holiday.
It is in a quiet residential area of Speightstown on the West Coast and the appartment is very well kept and clean. The utility room attached to the side of the building is particularly useful for laundry.
If you hire a car you can park in the car port under cover. If you don't have a car there is a bus terminus (5min.walk) where you can get a bus to most locations on the island,very cheap as well.
Speightstown is only a 10min.walk and the Almond Beach even less which has a lot of watersport activities available.
People are freindly. Jordan's Supermarket in Speightstown is handy for groceries etc.
The appartment is very comfortable and we just come and go as we please,sometimes eat in,sometimes eat out and it's our home while we are on holiday.
We hope to be able to stay again sometime.
Barbados is a great place to experience,from the busy South Coast,to the beautiful West Coast with amazing beaches,to the rugged and quite baron East Coast. There are many interesting places to visit and things to do.
We think it's suitable for people of any age.
