West Vail townhome, sleeps 3 couples comfortably or 2 couples with kids. You will be on the slopes faster than if you stayed in the main village and walked to the lift. Located 50 steps from the free bus route (two minutes to lifts, five minutes to Vail Village). The whole place is brand new inside.
Bedrooms: 2 very large master bedrooms each with grand log furniture and queen-size mattresses so thick that you cannot help but have a terrific sleep. Both masters have their own television set. One master has a single murphy bed as well. The third bedroom has two sets of bunk beds (one with a very thick double-size mattress), and a cathedral ceiling. There is a full bath on the second floor.
Living/Dining/Kitchen: This large open living area has a TV, VCR, CD player, queen-size sleeper sofa, and wood-burning fireplace. The dining table accommodates eight people. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a bathroom with a shower on the first level.
Hot Tub/Pool: 50 feet outside the back deck is an eight-person indoor hot tub open all year round and a large outdoor pool for the summer months.
There are parking spaces for two cars located just outside the unit. Washer and dryer are on site and there is a change and storage room for your ski gear.
Paul and I live in Denver with our two elementary school children. We own the townhouse next door to this rental unit. We go skiing every weekend. We load on the free bus 50 feet from the front of our place and ride it for 3 minutes to the cascade chair lift.
We own the townhouse with our cousins who live in Chicago. We bought it before moving to Denver as a way to get together and ski with our families on a regular basis.
The place is easy to get in and out of with two parking spaces immediately outside the unit. The free bus is very close, and the ride to the lifts is very short by Vail standards. West Vail has great proximity to grocery shopping and restaurants. In the summer time, the pool, back lawn and creek are a huge attraction for the kids.
