Custom post and beam home, 2800sq ft and a large covered deck, back yard and landscaped waterfall. Master bedroom suite with walk-in closet and a large bathroom with shower and separate bathtub. Open floor plan for kitchen, dining and living space with cathedral ceilings and large rock fireplace. An additional office loft above. Two bedrooms on ground floor share bathroom and another living room, fireplace, TV and outdoor patio. WiFi and modern appliances throughout. The house is surrounded by trees and a grassy yard with secret rocky perches offering breathtaking views of the Laurentian Mountains. The driveway is private and gated.
We live on the west coast but have family ties to Quebec. As new empty nesters we are learning to prioritize and simplify life for better access to the important stuff, like our dog and cat, traveling, eating well and lots of outdoor adventures. We are fortunate to have our own businesses which allow us to operate from anywhere. We are grateful for our blessings and happy to share our home with you.

The wooded privacy and great views makes this property special. We designed the house to bring in as much nature and light as possible while preserving an intimate atmosphere. The location is optimal for a secluded feel yet easy access to many outdoor activities.
Sit on the deck and read a book, or write one, while listening to the gentle waterfall over the rock landscape. If being quiet gets old drive your car 45 minutes one way and you are in Montreal's fabulous city life. Go the other way and in the same time you'll find world-class skiing at Mont Tremblant. Not to mention Mont Sant Sauveur skiing and yummy crepes are minutes away. Hop on your bike just down the hill on the paved chemin de fer and meander through lakes and European style country towns with cafes and artisan shops...then back to the porch for BBQ and star gazing....tomorrow, maybe a lake swim, vista hike, fabulous french cuisine, and on it goes...
This custom house has been a wonderful retreat. So quiet and private. The views from this house are amazing. Having dinner on the deck and watching the sunset was a special treat. Location is great as the Le P’tit Train Du Nord is only 3 miles away. This trail is excellent for running and biking. We biked to St Jerome, to St Van David, to St Agatha and even up to Mount Tremblant. Hiking trails are just around the corner at Parc Dela Riviere Doncaster. There are several trails and very scenic. All in all our week stay was one of the most relaxing vacations we have had. Cannot wait to go back.
This is a wonderful chalet. The place is built with taste and has a wonderful view of the hills. Big windows and a lovely deck.
We arrived to a very clean house with towels, linens, and all required amenities. Our hosts were easy to contact, pleasant to deal with and unobtrusive.
The Wi-fi was rock solid.
The home is 10 minutes from the center of St-Adele... which makes stocking for goods or getting to ski hills or skating and such very easy.
We look forward to renting again. AAA recommendation.
My family and I had a wonderful time over this Christmas Holiday skiing and tubing using this lovely home as our base of operations. The Ste. Adele location worked perfectly, 40 minutes from Mont Tremblant and 10+ mins. from Mont Ste. Sauvere. The settling and home is gorgeous, overlooking the town lights in the evening. Everything was essentially provided with a nicely stocked kitchen that we gladly added to providing future provisions. Costco Ste Jerome was a nice surprise that lead to easily stocking our needed provisions for the week. We enjoyed the Apple TV's and lovely living room fireplace. Leith & Jacques were available by phone for ready reference of house winter needs. We'd readily entertain a summer or second winter stay. You'll enjoy, wish we had more time to spend!
We stayed at this house with 4 adults and 3 children, aged 8, 6 and 4. We all had a fantastic time. The house is so private and quiet. We loved having BBQ's on the deck and watching the sunset. The kids loved the frogs in the waterfall. Ste-Adele and the surrounding area has plenty to offer, we went bike riding, to a water park, picnics, walking trails, swimming in the lake etc.
The house was very comfortable for us all. The owners are great and communicating and always got back to us very quickly if we had a question.
We would love to come back to the house.
What a wonderful place! Beautiful setting and a short drive to all the fun activities in the area. The house is beautiful, immaculately clean and well appointed. Our family enjoyed meals on the deck watching the sunset. Our hosts were most gracious and promptly responsive to our questions and requests. We enjoyed the bike trails (Petit Train du Nord), hiking (Parc Doncaster and Mont Tremblant), horseback riding (Ste. Adele), swimming (Ste. Adele), kayaking (Val David), canoeing (Val David), zip lining (Accro-Nature - St.Saveur) and much more. Ste. Adele is perfectly located and has a wonderful farmer's market on the weekends, great restaurants and bakeries.
Our stay at this lovely custom home was fantastic... The location, the scenery from the house, particularly the huge covered back deck, the quiet and the privacy, all outstanding! The house itself is so beautifully designed that we all wished it was our own! The proximity to the rail-line bicycle trail is perfect, with good bicycle rentals nearby. Really hope to return soon for another relaxing and comfortable stay!!
Sainte-Adèle is part of Quebec's French-speaking Les Pays-d'en-Haut Region.
