Custom designed by one of Hawaii's foremost architects, George Hogan, Hale 'Inana (House of Life) is a delightful Craftsman style classic beach cottage offering gorgeous ocean views.
The house sits behind stone walls and back away from a narrow entrance along Kamehameha Highway, fanning out to 120 feet of ocean frontage along the beautiful white sands of Hukilau Beach. Hogan-designed homes are famous for offering the best of Hawaii's indoor/outdoor island lifestyle, and this home is a stunning example of that design philosophy. It features a large protected deck that leads into an open and breezy great room.
Hale 'Inana has three bedrooms, two baths, and sleeps eight.
The master bedroom upstairs has its own bath and a balcony that looks out over 180° of blue Hawaiian ocean. The two bedrooms downstairs are split into an ocean-side room with a king-sized bed, and a mountain-side room with four twin beds that are perfect for children of all ages.
In August, 2014, a complete renovation of the kitchen was completed, featuring copper sinks, a custom local mangowood counter, and beautiful new tile. The tile extends into the hallway, the two downstairs bedrooms, and the downstairs bathroom, which was largely renovated at the same time.
Laie is a quiet corner of Oahu, very different from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki, but keeping the conveniences of supermarkets, medical facilities, cinemas, and restaurants. Hale 'Inana sits a few short minutes’ walk from the main shopping center, and within easy driving of the golf and resort amenities of the Turtle Bay Resort. Keep driving north and you’ll soon come to the world-famous Waimea Bay, Sunset Beach, Banzai Pipeline, and the historic town of Haleiwa.
