It's just right! It's the perfect size for friends traveling together, a couple or a small family. The yard is so peaceful and private. There are many trees, native birds and beautiful Red Rock views. The fully fenced yard makes it super easy for travelers with pets. Quiet and relaxing location in town so you can enjoy yourself. Walk or bike to popular restaurants and shopping.
What a great space for a couple or family of 4. Clean and uncluttered interior. Wireless internet. Laundry facility. Open Kitchen. Fenced yard is an wonderful benefit. Location is in a nice quiet neighborhood right in the center of town.
My daughters and I were in Kanab several weeks ago and were fortunate enough to stay in your home. Everything was just grand! The bed the most comfortable, the yard perfect for the precious dogs we brought home and the location convenient to everything. It was so nice to have the washer/dryer and the patio with the grill. Thank you for sharing such pleasant accommodations. We will be back next year.
Originally I booked this house with two other women to explore the incredible Southern Utah area but alas, the trip fell through. At the last minute I decided to make it a solo trip with my two dogs and utilize the house I had reserved for us. I was not disappointed. The house is well laid out, simple but functional. I was very comfortable and had everything I needed including a great fenced backyard for the dogs. The location is perfect to walk to "downtown" or a wonderful hiking trail. I found Kanab offers great dining too. The house was clean, beds comfy, strong shower and great views. Asti called my last evening and offered to come by to build a fire for me. I declined the fire but enjoyed chatting with her...a very nice landlady, indeed.
The home was wonderful, exactly as stated in the ad. Asta is incredibly nice and extremely available if needed. We were a bit cold so Asta immediately came over with an additional heater and showed us how to light the wood stove. The location is terrific, and the fenced in yard a plus for the dog. In a quiet, lovely neighborhood. Very comfortable and homey.
This was my 4th vrbo stay this year. Asta's listing is exactly as described which makes it a favorite. It's great to know what to expect.
For me, the best part was the location although the home is certainly comfortable and well equipped. Squaw Trail is just a few blocks from the house and we started each day with a hike here. We had the trail to ourselves so I let the dogs run the sandy path off leash. Also enjoyed the area behind the golf course with the same soft sand.
Coral Pink Sand Dunes is less than 30 minutes from the house and dogs are allowed everywhere in the park. Zion is about an hour. Dogs can hike one of the trails and are allowed in the paved areas. Not really a problem as most of the beauty of Zion can be seen from road/pullouts.
I didn't have any trouble staying warm in the house (no central heat). The room heaters were sufficient. I turned the one on in the bedroom 30 minutes before going to bed, closed the door and slept comfortably.
Final comment: I encourage anyone who can to visit off-season.
This place was in the perfect location to visit the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, and Zion! We stayed for 4 days and visited a different park each day. Our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. The house was clean and tidy and provided for every accommodation that we could need. It was a great place to relax in each night while we visited the beautiful parks of Sourthern Utah.
this house was perfect for our stay in Kanab! We volunteered at Best Friends (and brought home an adorable sleepover buddy!) and went up to Bryce for hiking. Kitchen had everything we needed (high quality pots and pans and knives) and the bed was very comfortable. It was also great to do some laundry after hiking and volunteering. There's no dishwasher, but that was no problem. It's walking distance from the best restaurant in town (3 blocks) and very close to some trails that take you up to views of Kanab. Overall, just what we needed!
We had a great stay in this Kanab house. It’s convenient location allows you to walk to nearby restaurants and shops. It’s quiet location and comfortable accommodations make the stay a really nice experience. The washer and dryer are also an added bonus and the grassy backyard was perfect for the dog.
