South Haven Apartment Rental Photos and Description
2 Bdrm/1 Bath Ideally Located Between Downtown And South Beach
Michiana Apartment #4 is available WEEKLY ONLY between Memorial Day and Labor Day. The rental schedule is from Sunday after 3:00PM through the following Sunday before 10:00AM. If you want to stay for less than a week you can but the full weekly rate will apply.
The Michiana was originally built was in the late 1800s as a large single family home. Years ago it was converted into four separate apartments with two one bedroom and two two bedroom units. Apartment #4 has two spacious bedrooms with one queen bed in each bedroom. Each bedroom also has a closet, a dresser and a chair. The living room has comfortable seating as well as a table and chairs for dining or a game of cards. Apartment #4 has recently had both mechanical and cosmetic updates while still retaining some of the original historic details and finishes. The apartment has a very functional floor plan (see pictures) that can comfortably accommodate a family of four or two adult couples.
There is a sun soaked outdoor deck directly adjacent to the apartment with western exposure which gets nice afternoon sun. There is also a natural gas Weber grill off the deck. Directly next to the deck is the off street parking area so you do not have to carry your luggage or your groceries too far when loading and unloading.
It sounds like such a cliche', but the location is truly ideal. The Michiana is what we like to call 'Close, but not too close!'. By this we mean that it is an easy walk home from the restaurants and night life on Phoenix Street, yet far enough away that you can still sleep peacefully at night. The walk to South Beach is only three blocks west straight down Michigan Avenue. This is the best of small town Americana! Have your morning coffee and sweet roll on a bench on Main Street, or in this case Phoenix Street, and watch people stroll by. Then head back home to change into your swim suit and walk down to the beach for a day of fun in the sun. We feel the Michiana is centrally located between downtown South Haven and the beautiful South Beach.
We hope you agree and can come to South Haven and stay at the Michiana. Remember...
Location. Location. Location.
We will see you at the beach!

About Michael Biedermann
We live in the north suburbs of Chicago however we feel South Haven is our home away from home. We can not say enough great things about the community and the people of South Haven. We both have very demanding schedules and spending time together in South Haven allows us to focus on each other and our four children.
Michael Biedermann purchased this apartment in 2004
Why Michael Biedermann chose South Haven
It seems with most beach towns in Southwest Michigan, if you stay at the beach, you have to drive in to town. Conversely, if you stay in town, you have to drive to the beach. South Haven offers the ability to walk to both. The South Beach and downtown area are only a short three block walk from the Michiana. Life is good and the living is easy!
What makes this apartment unique
We enjoy the easy access to the South Beach as well as the less than five minute walk to downtown South Haven. Once the groceries are purchased, there is no need for your car again. We have said it so many times but it is true... once you come to South Haven, it feels as though all of life's struggles seem to be lifted. We hope you are able to experience the same feeling!
A great set up for additional family or your best friends but you still have your own private space!!!
