This charming country cottage is situated in the midst of the unspoilt nature of Costa Vicentina Nature Reserve in the Western Algarve, only 5 km from the sea. There is a choice of many fantastic, endless sandy beaches - as Praia de Monte Clerigo, Praia de Amoreira, Praia de Arrifana - they can be reached by car in a 10 minutes drive. Enjoy the marvellous view from this peaceful place at the beautiful landscape and at Monchique Mountains. The pool area (Pool 8 x 4 m) and garden are well maintained and ensure a relaxed holiday. Close to the property there are 2 restaurants (700 - 1500 m). For shopping we recommend the mourish town Aljezur (5 km), where you will enjoy buying fish and vegetables on the market and with further shops, cafes and a small art gallery.

Great place for family holidays

We (2 adults, 2 teenagers) have spent two weeks in Casa Medronho during the month of August. The apartment is very comfortable with plenty of space. The swimming pool is clean and well integrated. The landscape is simply beautiful. Within a few kilometers you may find wonderful beaches still unknown for many tourists.

Leider befindet sich das Haus ca 150m oberhalb der befahrenen Landstraße Aljezur-Lagos. Wir sind nur eine Nacht geblieben und dann gleich wieder ausgezogen. Unseres Erachtens nur etwas für Schwerhörige.

Leider kommt das Flair des Hauses und seiner Umgebung im Internet gar nicht so gut zur Geltung. Sehr stimmig, sauber und liebevoll geführt. Vielen Dank für einen wahrlich erholsamen Urlaub. Alles Gute auch für John (mit dem wir auf Grund mangelnder Englischkenntnise leider nicht soviel kommunizieren konnten). Autofahren ist hier natürlich Thema, was jedoch immer wieder auf`s Neue durch unsagbar eindrucksvolle Strand- und Meereszenen absolut ins Hintertreffen gelangt. Wir wollen auf alle Fälle wieder kommen.

wir haben 10 sehr erholsame und schöne Tage in der Casa Medronho verbracht. Die Wohnung war sehr gepflegt und sauber, ebenso die Außenanlagen und der Pool. Besonders toll fanden wir unseren Nachbarn John und die perfekte Betreuung durch Hille. Nochmals vielen Dank für alles.
Einzig die Entfernung zum Strand sollte vielleicht doch noch mal nachgemessen werden. Aber auch die relativ viel gefahrenen Kilometer haben sich voll gelohnt mit absoluten Traumstränden.
Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
