Step outside to endless possibilities!! Some of my favorites: the french bakery on the block, Pio Pio on 90th and 1st(i think it has the best sangria in the city!! Go early if you want a more romantic dinner so you can get the window seat!!),
If you would like to try the best burgers in the city, do not have to go far, you can find them right at the property!!!. Health food store one block up, giant groceries, too many quaint wine bars to mention.. But the one on 88th and 2nd with the curtained entrance is great!!), Duane Reade across the street, easy access to the west side as the bus stops on the corner. The art farm on 91st between first and york is great for little ones!! I love asphault green for classes or swimming. Also NY sports club is on 86th and lex.(93rd and 3rd if you want to swim.) you can buy a weeks pass for $20 or so. My favorite exercise class in the city (excluding yoga) is 'soul spin' on 83rd and 3rd. It's fantastic!!! Try to get into Stacy or Laurie's class. Walk to museum mile but make sure to stop in at cafe Sabarsky on your way!! As i lived in Austria, i love this cafe!! The deserts are fantastic (think of the rich vienna chocolates). Joanne works on Thursday and if you can sit in her section you'll have a treat. She loves kids and can't resist treating them with extra special attention!! There is too much to mention.. But there is a start!!
