Overview

Fort Collins House Rental Photos and Description

2 Bedroom, 1 Bath Home In Old Town's Best Neighborhood

Located on a quiet residential street with ample parking, this Old Town home is just steps from picturesque Mountain Avenue. Even though it’s an easy stroll to historic Old Town Square or City Park, you might want to catch the restored turn-of-the century trolley at the Mountain Avenue stop close by. Trolley not running that day? – take the two cruiser bikes provided to our guests (locks and helmets included) and spend the day enjoying one of America’s top bike-friendly cities. No need for a car for groceries – it’s an easy walk to the oldest family-owned food market in Fort Collins, featuring many locally produced foods and a farmers’ market every Wednesday during growing season.

This immaculate, upscale two-bedroom home is furnished with the crisp, clean lines of mid-century modern design that perfectly complements the original architectural details of the period. The polished wood floors show off the thoughtfully selected furnishings that combine to transport you to the days of martinis and mohair suits. The entire house is filled with natural light and has an open, airy feel. With wood floors, wool area rug, and plenty of seating, the living room is a comfortable place for conversation or watching a movie. This home is fully furnished; all you need to bring is a tooth brush! The dining area seats up to six and the kitchen is fully equipped for making everything from a cup of coffee to a family dinner. Both bedrooms have wood floors with high quality wool area rugs, queen beds with luxurious linens and cozy comforters, dressers and closets. Ample counter space and storage in the bathroom make things easy with a full house. There is a full tub/shower with glass doors, and soft, thick hand and bath towels. Also included are a washer and dryer, high-speed internet, cable TV with HBO, flat screen TV, DVD player, iPod player/radio, two bikes, backyard patio and gas grill.

About Michael and Leslie

We are professionals who have lived in the Old Town area for nearly 30 years. This is the house where we first met twenty years ago. When it came up for sale, we couldn’t help but acquire part of our own personal history. We live just two blocks away and are always available to give you a local perspective on all the Fort Collins area has to offer. We offer this beautiful mid-century gem as your home away from home during your stay.

Why Michael and Leslie chose Fort Collins

Although we currently live in a restored 100+ year old house, being design professionals, we have always been drawn to the crisp, clean esthetic of mid-century modern design. This home is in pristine condition, close to the best of everything Fort Collins has to offer, and is in the friendliest neighborhood in town - ours! Even if you stay just a few days, you'll know why we chose this area to put down roots.

Perfect Location

  • 5 of 5

This was our first trip to Fort Collins to explore the area. Unfortunately for us it rained, poured really, the entire time we were there. Luckily, we had this fantastic cottage to come home to each day. The home is exactly as represented - which is to say a spacious house in a pretty neighborhood of older homes. Walking distance to everything or to the trolley :-), and the famous Beaver's Market.

The house is mid century modern in decor, very comfortable beds and a great living room set up. The wifi was fast enough to stream video.

Ample parking on a safe street - we never worried about the brand new Subaru we had just picked up.

The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans, etc we cooked a couple meals.

All in all excellent!!!

Fantastic stay

  • 5 of 5

My husband, infant and I met my in laws at the bungalow for just under a week's stay. We were blown away with how clean everything was and how well stocked the house was. Not a detail missed! Michael and Leslie were more than willing to accommodate specific needs we had which made our stay all the more perfect. We barbecued, rode bikes, enjoyed the yard and walked everywhere. The location is fantastic, situated on a very private street. I highly recommend staying at Michael and Leslie's bungalow. Being there made getting to know Fort Collins even better.

Beers & Bungalow with eggs on top !

  • 5 of 5

The last time we visited the FOCO area was many moons ago, Odell's & New Belguim the only standing breweries. Things sure have changed! So many new breweries of all sizes ,shapes & forms we had to pick & choose our destinations daily. What fun! But the best part of every day was rising & then returning to our very special Bungalow that was so well planned out , comfortable, & thoughtfully appropriated right down to the New Belguim beer & fresh laid eggs in the fridge. We had sooo much fun , can't wait to return to explore more breweries ,watch the Flower Test Garden evolve & enjoy "our" special Bungalow. Thank you for being so kind to share!!

Greg H and Family

  • 5 of 5

We have just returned from one of our most amazing and memorable vacations yet. We are so fortunate to come across the home of Michael and Leslie in Fort Collins Colorado. Their home was so warm and cozy and had everything a family could need or want along with a few extra's! The neighborhood is also kid friendly and safe. We loved the proximity to down town which was just a six block walk or better yet a 3 minute bike ride. We would have loved to been able to experience the Trolley but, unfortunately doesn't start until May 1st. Michael and Leslie are so gracious and always make themselves available for help with attractions, restaurants etc.... We will be back! Thanks again Michael and Leslie

Adorable house!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I just ventured on our first trip to Fort Collins and we were so happy to have come across this adorable house. The house was comfortable, accommodating, and much more than we had hoped for! From a FULLY stocked kitchen to comfortable beds, no detail was left unseen. When we arrived, cold locally brewed beer was awaiting in the fridge along with fresh eggs! The house was immaculate and cozy. The nieghborhood felt very safe and quiet. We would definitely recommend this house!

Adorable house -- no detail overlooked!

  • 5 of 5

There is no reason to stay in a generic hotel when you can stay in a lovely house like this. The condition of the house was completely pristine, and it could not have been more comfortable. From luxurious bath products and towels to cozy, comfortable beds, this house has it all. The owners have thought of every detail, and the house's original mid-century details are thoroughly charming and really quite amazing! I would LOVE to stay here again!
