Accommodations: The master Bedroom has a King bed and additional Toddler Bed that sleeps 2 adults and 1 child. The split floor plan has the second Bedroom on the opposite side of the house and has a Queen bed that sleeps 2. Both have lake views. The third Bedroom has 2 twin beds with the addition of 1 trundle bed that sleeps 3. There is an additional sleeper sofa in the living room to accommodate 2 additional guests. A twin daybed is located in the enclosed sun porch to watch the beautiful sunrise and sunsets and accommodate 1 additional guest for sleeping.
The living room is large and spacious with a sleeper sofa and love seat. There is a 58 inch flat screen TV, BlueRay player, wireless high speed internet, DishNetwork Satellite and a cordless phone. Plush carpeting is located throughout the main living area.
The kitchen has all major appliances and a view to the lake as you eat at the bistro style leather dining table that seats up to 6 people. There is also an enclosed porch with lake views to sit and enjoy your morning coffee.
The downstairs has a pool table, living area with couch, bar, dart board and flat screen TV. There is also a front loader washer & dryer conveniently located downstairs to handle all of your laundry needs.
Relax on the outdoor deck overlooking the sandy beach and lake (perfect setting and views of the Colchester Fireworks!!!) and dine outside on the polywood picnic table large enough for 8 people with an additional wood picnic table on the ground level next to the beach.
There is a Vermont Castings Gas Grill available for outdoor grilling as you view the action on the lake in your back yard and enjoy every moment of summer. We are a family of Vermonters (born and raised) and love everything that Lake Champlain has to offer. Our family is very active and truly enjoys Niquette Bay year round with the change of seasons. From boating, fishing, paddleboarding, kayaking & swimming in the Summer, Spring and Fall months to snowshoeing, ice skating, cross country skiing and taking long walks on the frozen bay during the winter. We take full advantage of the views and the access the lake provides to us year round.
Growing up on the lake in Vermont installed a love and passion for the water. We bought this house in Niquette Bay because it was an ideal location to enjoy everything the lake has to offer while only being 1 mile from Interstate I89. We truly found an ideal spot for a family to relax, stay active and overall have fun together while creating memories for a lifetime!
This house has a 100 feet of direct lake front property. The beach is sandy, safe and ideal for families and it is one of our favorite parts of the property. We spend a lot of time taking in the views from both the beach and outside deck which are unbelievable and has amazing photo ops every day. Overall, the location is a unique, seasonal, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere that is 'far away from it all' but only 15 minutes to downtown Burlington.
This house is located on Niquette Bay in Colchester, VT with 100 feet of sandy beach just outside your door. This is a PRIME location for summer enthusiasts with a dock for your boats, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, water skiing, swimming and relaxing with all of the lake action right in front of you. Niquette Bay is a haven for many sail boats, day boaters and water skiers throughout the summer and fall months. Niquette Bay State Park has numerous hiking trails and offers another set of wonderful views from its trails all accessible from a quick walk down the beach. Malletts Bay boat launch (public launch) is a 20 minute drive and launches directly across the bay from the house. This house is “away from it all” located off of a dirt road; however, it is only 1 mile off of Interstate 89 and only 15 minutes from downtown Burlington but offers all of the beauty and serenity of being much farther away.
