Situated in Gulf Place, just a hop, skip, and a jump away from the serene sands and crystal clear waters of the Emerald Coast, The Break-Away has everything you need for a relaxing coastal break.

This well appointed ground floor condo sleeps four and comes equipped with all toiletries and beach equipment. It is just a few minutes walk from the shops, bars, and restaurants of Gulf Place and features convenient street-side parking.

There is a heated swimming pool and hot tub literally steps from the condo and a well-maintained lawn that is a great place for kids to play. The jewel in the crown, Santa Rosa beach, is just a short stroll away.

Painted in relaxing blues and greens with bursts of accent color, this newly renovated condo combines quirky flea market finds and stylish designer flourishes to bring the peace and serenity of the ocean inside. Light and airy, it opens out onto a small patio with table and chairs where you can sit back, unwind, and enjoy a drink as you take in the sunset over the Gulf of Mexico.

With a luxurious king-size bed (which one guest described as 'more comfortable than any bed you will ever find in a hotel') and two cozy bunks suitable for both adults and children, all guests can be assured of waking up refreshed each morning.

The condo is located right on the 30A coastal highway, making it an ideal base from which to explore the beautiful Emerald Coast. The charming communities of Watercolor, Seaside, and Rosemary Beach are all within easy driving distance. If you are feeling a little more energetic, bicycles can be hired to cycle the same route.

At night, there are high quality seafood, Italian, and pizza restaurants within Gulf Place and other popular options just a short drive away. If you want to take advantage of the fully-equipped kitchen; the nearby Shrimper's Seafood Market is a great place to pick up fresh seafood, including delicious, locally-caught shrimp and blue crab.

My native state is Texas, but I have also lived in and enjoyed New Mexico and Oklahoma. I am a former elementary school teacher with a degree from The University of Texas at Austin. Because I love it so much, I have relocated to Santa Rosa Beach and now live here full time!

Why Jamie Anderson chose Dune Allen Beach

I have chosen Gulf Place Cabanas #103 because of its close proximity to the shops, restaurants, beach, and the pool. Miss Lucille's is a quick 1-2 min. walk for a vanilla latte, and the heated pool is right outside the back patio. The convenience and central location sold me!

What makes this condo unique

Gulf Place caught my eye because it is very well maintained, has planned activities on the premises, is away from the congestion of Destin, but is only a short drive if a person wants more to do. In addition, I love being able to just walk across the street to reach the beach and then the convenience of rinsing off my feet at the outdoor showers provided by Gulf Place when I return!

Anniversary getaway

My wife and I were looking to do something for our anniversary, so we decided on a beach trip. This was the perfect place. The beach is super close. There were restaurants and a coffee shop within walking distance. The pool was right outside the back porch. A grocery store was just about 5 minutes away. Jamie provides beach towels, an umbrella and beach chairs. There's also a huge bucket of beach toys outside if you need them. We had a great time all around and have already talked about coming back.

We had a wonderful stay

We were very fortunate to stay in this lovely home. 1. Everything was so very clean and tidy. Extremely clean. And smelled fresh. 2. Wonderful location. Right across from beach. Steps away from hot tub and pool. On first floor=no carrying heavy stuff up on different floors. 3. Gulf Place was alot of fun. Yummy restaurants and cute shops all right there. 4. We just had a great time all around. Thank you for letting us stay.

Excellent Condo!

Comfortable and Convenient

Jamie's unit has everything to make your stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. The unit is nicely decorated and well appointed with amenities that go above and beyond what other owners offer - beach towels/chairs/toys/cart/cooler. Since my boyfriend and I both flew in from different parts of the country, we would have needed to purchase these items otherwise so we were quite appreciative for this! Jamie was also quite generous in accommodating our travel plans and just a pleasure to correspond with throughout the process.

I would not hesitate to recommend this unit to my friends and will look forward to booking the same for next year.

Beautiful condo!

This was my first trip to Santa Rosa Beach and I was actually there for business. Santa Rosa Beach is quiet and gorgeous. But the condo was just as amazing! It was decorated beautifully, you can tell the owner has an artistic eye. Everything we needed was in the condo as well. Jamie, the owner, was great to work with! She checked up on me and made sure I had made it in safe and let me know she was available if I needed her. It was a great experience and I recommend this condo to anyone looking in to a trip at Santa Rosa Beach.

Another great visit !!

My wife and I just had another great stay at Jamie's condo !! We stayed there in February and we were both anxious to return. We were not disappointed. The condo was clean, well taken care of and we love that it is just steps away from the pool and the beach. The bed is very comfortable and after being on the beach all day then swimming in the pool we both slept really good.
We love the area and really enjoy the fact that it is very close to restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the farmers market Sunday and we walked every night around the property and felt safe. We got to meet Jamie this visit and she is a very gracious host and really has your best interests in mind.
We are already planning our next visit and will definitely stay here again!

All linens and mattresses are new. The king bed also has extra padding for additional comfort. New 2.5' blinds have just been installed with new drapes that match the bedspread.
