San Foca is a coastal town in the Adriatic coast, 2 km from Bear Tower, 15 kilometers from Otranto, and 20 km from Lecce. It 'a place very windy, so relatively cooler during the hot months. The small urban center is located at one of the many towers along the coast of Salento, an Aragonese tower. This location is important for those who had the pleasure boats. The works for the construction of a new modern port was completed only a few years ago. Originally a beautiful fishing village, the town is now a popular destination for many tourists from all over Italy and abroad. Its name comes from the eighteenth century tower that was built on the tip of the cliff almost touching the sea with its foundation, watch over all this wonderful coastline embellished with numerous beaches, low cliffs and mysterious caves.
