Our home is a beautifully decorated, well maintained 3 bedroom, 2 bath single family residence. It is tastefully furnished and provides all of the comforts of home. It is Smoke And Pet-free and is truly a home away from home.
You will find a spacious open concept kitchen, dining and living room. The kitchen is a chef’s dream with a gas cook top and dual gas ovens with the convection option. There is a huge island with a second prep sink all with granite counter tops. The kitchen is equipped with a trash compactor and all small appliances necessary to run an efficient home. All dishes, cookware and utensils are provided and will be found in ample supply. The dining room seats 6-8 easily and provides a wonderful spot for enjoying a delicious meal or playing a game of cards with friends.
The living room is warm and welcoming with comfortable furnishings, a gas fireplace and a flat-screen TV. The 3 bedrooms are spacious, 2 with king size beds and TV's and the 3rd with a queen size bed. All beds are very comfortable and all linens are provided. Both bathrooms have been completely renovated within the last 2 years and are immaculately maintained. One bath is fully handicap accessible. All bath linens are provided.
Off street parking is provided in an attached 2 car garage.
The true amazement of this home happens when you open the doors to the outside and are hit with the park-like panorama that is the backyard. It is truly as if you are viewing a city park with a variety of shade producing trees, beautiful green grass, fragrant roses (in season,) fruit bearing trees, areas of native planting and a variety of gathering locations/patios throughout.
The centerpiece of all of this beauty is a large salt-water Pebbletec pool and spa with fountains spilling into the pool adding to the sense of peace provided by the running water.
Outdoor dining is a must to fully enjoy the setting; whether a breakfast cup of coffee and muffin or a full dinner prepared on the home's BBQ. The meal music and entertainment is provided by the soundtrack of the birds reveling in this beauty.

Within a mile radius of this home you can walk to shops, restaurants, markets, churches, galleries, golf, tennis, and the Living Desert. The College of the Desert, theaters, casinos, hiking trails, the Indian Canyons, and other local attractions are only a short jaunt away. You can drive to the mountains of Idyllwild in 45 minutes or be at the beach in an hour and a half.
We have owned properties is South Palm Desert for over 26 years now and find it to be truly a slice of heaven. It is still, after all this time, our true place of respite. We are retirees and love to work to keep our properties pristine yet still with the feeling of home. Cleanliness and having a well maintained place to share is of great importance to us. It's the old golden rule that governs our dealings with our tenants and from that we develop new friendships built on trust.
We love everything about Palm Desert...the weather, the people, and the close proximity to everything we value. This property is a jewel. It is a peaceful retreat from the frantic pace of society. We saw that when we purchased it; but as we have worked the property and remodeled the home and yard we have realized that it is to be shared to realize it's true benefit.
It can be said over and over that this is a special place but until you experience it you will not fully comprehend this fact. It is close to everything that people seek out when they journey to Palm Desert...yet it feels totally separate from the hustle and bustle when you are here.
The property itself transports you to a different place...one of rest and relaxation. Walking through the park like yard, listening to the fountains bubble, the birds singing or watching the hummingbirds play in their territorial manner is just flat-out joy producing.
It has been said over and over that it is in close proximity to everything that is Palm Desert. Whether you want to shop, eat, exercise, or play, it is all close by. If you want to tramp through the COD street faire...it’s close by. You could literally park your car and walk to almost everything the valley has to offer.
We are within walking distance of El Paseo which is considered the Rodeo Drive of the desert. All levels of shopping are close at hand including the COD Swap Meet, Palm Springs Street Fair, and the Cabazon Outlets.
The Palm Springs Indian Canyons and the Airial Tramway provide wonderful hiking opportunities within a few short miles. Taking the tramway transports you into the pines and fresh cool mountain air for an entirely different experience.
